I loved the professional staff even when spring breakers were out of control.... Kristen delt with it appropietley...despite attacks on her personally...the house keeping was excellent on the 4th floor...so friendly I really like this place would like to buy in great location..this was our 2nd stay here loved it the first time wanted to see it again befre decideing to buy in...
all reviews » All most everything. The room, the staff were great. House keeping was great. Would be nice if the rooms was up dated with flat screen tv. It would be nice if they could get the wi-fi fixed on 5th & 6th floor so I could use my computer in the room.over all it was very good. Bob spiridy, marietta, ga. The location. Our second room was much better. I was on the second floor first then moved to the third because of the air unit going out. the room was much cleaner and fresher. Loved the deck and pool area too. loved the DJ on saturday. Had a great time! Great location walking distance to shops and restaurants. Tiki bar had live dj by the pool and beach. We will definitely be back great place for the money!. The staff was very friendly and for the most part the place was clean, we did have to switch rooms though. The first room we were in was not clean and had a moldy smell. The room was VERY roomy on the inside, I stayed at the Hilton last year I went to Daytona and room was much larger than thehilton. Very clean rooms and front desk very helpfully. Dj was fun on Saturday it was just so hot outside with out pool to cool off in. The view and the proximity to our venue the Ocean Center. It was so nice to park the car and walk to the event. Stay was excellent as usual. Have stayed there several times, and will stay again for Spring Break 2014. how cheap and nice the hotel rooms were. And I was able to reserve the hotel that early morning. knowing what I can get on beachside for this price , I was very pleased and will be back again. The most we liked was that the staff was very kind with us and very polite. Staff was really good ,, like the otiki bar and food ,. location cleanliness staff great value for the price. close to where we needed, nice view, clean. Location, Staff. Location. The location was great. The housekeeper, Grayce, was very professional and cordial. Location to boardwalk. Front desk personnel were welcoming. Location to the boardwalk is ALL it has going for it!. View of the ocean was wonderful, if only we could see it thru very dirty windows. On the beach and walking distance to boardwalk, shopping and food!. Nothing!!!. bar staff can be obnoxious if...you dare to sit for a minute with your own beer after tipping the dj to play a song..oh well. The music at the outside pool bar . I do not feel there is a need to play it so loud that everyone within 100 yards on the beach can hear it. It was too loud for the pool area to carry on a conversation with out having to yell so talk to the person next to you. How each room was not kept up to a standard. My cousin came and others from the college and stayed there where I was able to view other rooms. I hated that there was No hair dryers or irons! Only one chair was on the first room balcony but two on the other. Like to eat my breakfast on the balcony when near the beach! But, I will be back!. The beds were uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was also disappointing 4 mornings were all the same, cinnamon rolls and cereal. Elevator is very slow and the rooms need updated. Could use a little more updating. Pool was closed all weekend big let down for kids. Gave small refund for it but still let down. The cops were there do two drunks fighting at patio bar. My kids didn't need to see that. And beds are horrible! Very cheap and uncomfortable. Older elevator was a concern but stairs were close by as an option. n/a. We nver used the coffee pot in the room and the maids ,, never.. Checked it be fore we got there and it was gross ,, very moldy ,, I stayed there last year and was never told about any discounts .. Breakfast. The rooms were getting a bit worn out. Not real clean. #1, The balcony: the door to the balcony didn't lock, needs a small table. Noticed ants on the window sill. #2 The a/c: the plastic cover was hanging off by 2 inches. #3, Blinds: were stuck in one position. #4, Bathroom: Tiny, cracked wall tile leaving a gaping hole. Moldy spots. Discolored bathtub floor. No pen and paper. I found a crayon at a restaurant to write this down, on a take out menu. Ocean view was from side of building. Would prefer ocean front view but hotel not built that way. Facility is a bit dated. A/C unit condensation runs onto balcony. Noise of A/C on balcony not relaxing. The motel is old as were the furnishings in the room. The bathroom has zero counter space. This room had a 19 inch tv! Couldn't see it from the bed! The continental breakfast was a joke! Cereal and toast! The public is encouraged onto the deck which made it loud and crowded. WILL NOT GO BACK!. Midnight the police were called because there were 30 kids in my hallway fighting. My wife was scared to death. Could not get an answer at front desk so had to go down there myself. Almost got into fight with them on way down, then up a couple of hours while police came to escort them out of hotel. The mold in the bathroom shower. The light in the bathroom was burnt out. The drinks were a bit pricey. The keys were a pain - they rarely worked. the reservation said the price of room included breakfast, which we never got?? The beds squeaked so loud any time you moved. Door to balcony was stuck shut. Facilities were old and dilapidated. Staff was unpleasant and unfriendly. All of my 5 friends shared the same conclusion. Hotel is under renovation which is much needed.However I was not aware of it when I booked, otherwise I would have not selected this hotel. Breakfast consisted of coffee with creamer in powder and individually wrapped small danishes, served at the front desk, very disappointing. Hotel has a great location and has great potential. beds were very uncomfortable. there was no continental breakfast like the ad said or atleast we couldn't find it!. It smelled mould in our room, the furniture was really discusting! We checked in at 5 or 6 pm and checked out at 6.30 am! We couldn't stand it any longer!.
