I liked the design of the hotel.Most of the staff were very friendly and responsive. We were greeted by two friendly staff members and one Manager during the evening snack and drinks, which was very relaxing after a long day of travel. My family enjoyed the pool area. I also liked that the hotel was located close to the airport. This was the first time that we have stayed with Hyatt,we usually stay with Hilton or Marriott.I would most definitely use your brand again for business or lei.
all reviews » We got back from our cruise at 8 am and went straight to the hotel the nice man at the desk took our luggage and told us to help ourselves to breakfast. He put us on a waiting list and called us an hour before check in when we were shopping that our room was ready. It was nice. The rooms would be perfect for a week or so stay because of the full kitchen and living room. Decent breakfast. Overall we enjoyed it and would go back!. I would put this hotel in my top for value, comfort, amenities and over enjoyment of stay. Our family does a lot of traveling throughout the U.S. We always stay at hotels ranging from 3-5 stars. This hotel is definitely worth coming back to. We will only be staying here when we come back to Fort Lauderdale. Great Job Hyatt!. This place was a fantastic last minute find! We chose it for it's proximity to the airport but it would serve just as well as a family, business or base for activities. The rooms are actually little apartments with bedroom, spacious bathroom, living room and full kitchen. Really a great value. Love how these rooms are mini apartments, very appealing with updated finishes and all the essential tools needed to be at home comfy. The rooms are great and are big enough for a family. The only thing that I didn't like was one of the front desk personal was more interested in chatting to her co-worker than serving some of the guests waiting for her. There are no cons only pros to this hotel. Our experience was perfect. The only thing missing is a hot tub in the pool area. Other than that nothing to complain about!. Nothing. You can get a shuttle to the cruiseport throught the hotel ffor about $8. I don't think it was the hotels shuttle but rather just a company they use. I would not use them again. The 3 mile shuttle took over 1.5 hours because they waited to fill it (literally luggage was stacked in the aisles of the bus) then they dropped people off at all the various boats. We were the 5th stop I think. Just take a cab. It's probably a similar price and way worth avoiding this hassle. nothing. Huge stain in carpet on 5th floor just outside of elevator. Neighborhood. Not enough seating for breakfast buffet. Lack movie channels option. Attempted to change reservation, but desk agent had no authority. Breakfast a bit limited, not a large selection of breakfast items and basically offering the same products every day. N/a. Everything was great no complaints. Shuttle driver dropped us off at Hyatt Place opposite Hyatt House and told us to walk over instead of dropping us at the hotel entrance. nothing. 1)Rude check in Staff 2)Poor service during check in 3)Limited Breakfast choices 4)Very Small Room 5)Not issued room booked 6)Room not ready during checkin.
