Was comfortable and convenient. When I told them that I needed to keep my insulin cool they gave me a little refrigerator without charge. However, what kind of a hotel room does not already have a refrigerator? The one cup at a time coffee pot was great but if I had stayed in longer than an hour after getting up, more than one unit of coffee would have been appreciated. I liked the check in a lot: quick, friendly and professional guy. The only thing - he did not give us breakfast vouchers and we had to argue with Breakfast staff that our breakfast is included. Design - very interesting but a little bit too much posters.

It is well-located, although you have to walk a few blocks to get to the Michigan Avenue. Free access to computers and printer. Very clean and superbly furnished hotel in Chicago Gold coast area, all shops and restaurants are 10-20 min walking distance away. May be quite expensive, we got a good discount but the room was rather small. The hotel is very quaint and cute. Loved the decor. The gentleman who works in the breakfast bistro was amazingly friendly and provided excellent service. The doorman was also very great. It was amazing. The beach color decor was amazing. There was no way to turn the fan off and sometimes the heat came on with no connection whatsoever to the temperature of the room or what I set with the thermostat. It was a good sized room for a single, so why was it extra for a refrigerator?. Hskp - was not good. When we just arrived - I found hair, dust and hershey's kisses wrapping on the floor. Breakfast - was VERY slow. It usually took us about 30-40 minutes for have breakfast!!! Staff - 1 day was good, second day - was bad and slow, third day - fine. The rooms were expensive for the location. Due to the price and parking fee ($39/night - although one of the cheapest in downtowon area), I would have expected the hotel to be in better proximity to the historic Magnificent Mile, Lake and parks. i think the cleaning service could be improved. The hotel is clean, but when they make the rooms they just change towels and arrange the bed, and that's it. I had some problems with the TV but they fixed it right away. The reverse heating which was in our room may be not the best option for Chicago- in winter it has to stay on also during the night and that makes quite a noisy night... Garbage trucks were picking up at 6:30am and it was a bit loud. Basic city noise. I wish the glasses in the room were disposable and sealed in plastic. Rooms slightly small, TV very old. room is small. Parking solution available but extremely high cost. No microwave oven in the room. ability to mak a cup of tea. Noisy a/c system. Small rooms with even smaller bathrooms. Price of parking. No refrigerator in room, slightly pricy, walls aren't very sound-proof. Hotel offers complimentary hot breakfast. Seems to be a lot of movement and not alot being accomplished. Service extremely slow. Stayed two nights, server first day very pleasant and efficient and her absence second morning made a huge difference in the service. Need more staff scheduled for breakfast. Food was very good. rooms are small, breakfast facilities are poor, dirty tables, minimal staff, not good value - eat out. hotel is located a little to the north of where the main attractions are so be prepared to walk or take a cab. the place could use A coat of paint. the walls are dirty in the halls. A bit pricey not worth it.
