Mansion was beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful. Decor was fabulous. There were many extras to make comfort a priority, such as: this was the only place I've every stayed that had a small fan in room for those of us who need "white noise" to sleep. Loved it!. Jim the owner was extremely friendly and informational about the history of the beautiful mansion in Cheyenne. He even provided us bikes for a tour around the Capitol and town. Lovely restoration of a unique, one-of- a kind piece of history.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and we were very pleased. A charming location steeped in history. If you like olde worlde elegance, you'll love this spot. Well located to walk to amenities and with a fascinating host, one could spend a night or week here. We enjoy the Romantic Victorian style setting in Old Cheyenne. We have stayed there about 6 times now and always enjoy the quaint atmosphere and close location to downtown activities. Location to town, historical charm, friendly and knowledgable staff, basic fitness room and of course a wonderful breakfast! Can't lose on this choice!. Very unique , historic B&B. Beautiful old mansion, however, the Cheyenne historic district, if there is one, did not protect the area. Mansion overlooks run down dry cleaner, fastfood restaurants, etc. Also, upon arrival, mansion had been rented out for graduation party and was overrun with screaming children running around, it was a loud chaotic mess. Nothing eager to return. Nothing!. Due to bad weather conditions, we tried to call the B&B several times and there was no answer. Another visiting couple expressed similar problems. You didn't do anything wrong. When all the rooms are full, there can be a wait to be seated for breakfast - although it is worth waiting for!. Rooms could use freshening. Unable to reach the host at 8:00 pm for bottle service. Did not get the room we were told we would receive. Having expectations of waffles (and a number of other choices) for breakfast, were not offered any choice and had to eat what we were given. On this day the breakfast was eggs with mashed potato that was not great if you did not like eggs. Was looking forward to the waffles (or at least being asked what we would like). bathroom: although the décor, fixtures etc. were excellent, the commode was located too close to the bathtub. This may have been in our room only as all the rooms were different. We would not hesitate to return on our next stay. See above. The house looked from the outside slightly run down front wall demolished the area is appalling very rough views from the front street.The description of the hotel states bar and restaurant very misleading no such thing also quotes free parking that means street parking the food we asked for with our afternoon drinks was stale which made us question what the breakfast would be like so we did not bother to stay for breakfast as this was an expensive choice overall we were very disappointed.
