My mom had a yorkie with us and it was very welcome at Barrington. Staff was great and took care of us to the best of their ability on our time schedule since we don't let anyone in our room when we have our pet with us. They cleaned what needed to be cleaned while we were there and that helped us protect our pet as well as the staff since our yorkie is 10 ft tall and bulletproof and thinks she can eat the world up. HA! Great place to stay.
all reviews » Great hotel for the price. I had a one day stay at the hotel and it was more than I expected. The feel of luxury when you wlk into the lobby was nice. Came with kids so the free hot breakfast was nice and the pool and hot tub were great. Would definately recommend this hotel to others. Hotel staff was very friendly and responsive. Had to get coffee pot replaced and someone came up to the room 10 minutes after I called. Location was perfect! Off the main drag so traffic was not as bad but close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Their breakfast was awesome. I went down close to the closing time and they still had an abundance of hot, fresh food and I never felt rushed to finish. The room was nice and clean. It was very clean and comfortable, for what I paid I was very impressed. I will stay there again on my next trip to Branson. It was very kid friendly and set up conveniently. The breakfast was also fantastic. They were very friendly from check-in all the way through needing more pillows and making sure we were happy while at the indoor pool. Breakfast was great every day. Will definitely stay there again. The room was clean and the staff was friendly & knowledgeable . It was a great value. We have stayed there before & this time brought friends with us who also were very happy with the hotel. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. It was a nice room that had everything we wanted and needed. The pool was lovely my wife and kids and I really loved it. The place was very clean, which I loved. The room service was wonderful. The hot tub was down for repairs the whole time we were there. There were just a few things that bothered me. 1. There were kids running up and down the halls all the time. I did not complain because I could hear the parents trying to correct their behavior. 2. I was expecting the room to look just like the website showed (king with spa tub). The tub was nice but looked bigger in picture. The only things that weren't absolutely amazing about the Barrington was the over chlorinated pool and spa. They were fine on day one and two but by the evening on day three it was burning my eyes to sit in the hot tub. The pool water was a little chilly for me, but my son wasn't bothered by it do it could have been just me. Aside from that there wasn't any real negative to the place. Wish they had updated bedding & Half & Half for coffee in the morning. Needs more options in the food vending machines. The breakfast was just okay. We stayed for 4 days and having the same exact breakfast every morning got old quick. Wish the hours for breakfast were extended also. We came in late each night and enjoyed sleeping in, but missed breakfast when we did. A bit noisey as other guests were leaving their rooms & letting the doors slam shut, I also noticed one of the cleaners doing the same thing. Air conditioning in the room was a bit noisey. We had an excellent experience here. No complaints. The pool was very cold. There was a weird smell in the lobby area when you walked in. And the breakfast crew could have been more friendly. The walls are thin so lots of noise from other rooms but that's typical of most hotels. shower head was too low for even me and I am not what you would call a tall woman. Not great signage-little hard to see the entrance. First morning no donuts on breakfast bar, but plenty the second day. I cut my leg on a nail that was sticking out of the chair. I called the front desk and the manager came and removed the chair and gave me a band aid but didn't offer me a discount on the room since my leg was sliced and bleeding. Walls were a little thin, but not terrible bad!. Parking was crowded and some times I could not park in a convenient location. The bed is not very comfortable. I'm not complaining, the only thing I didn't like was the mattress. But really that's not you all's fault. It was firm, my fiancé liked it well. They charged me more than letsbookhotel.com said I would pay. We wanted to play some board games and couldn't find a table large enough to play. The tables in our rooms were too small. nothing. Kids were running the halls after 10pm. Very noisy. Unable to relax. Needed rollaway, but none available (and had requested one through letsbookhotel.com a couple weeks prior.) So had to scrunch 5 people into 2 beds. The free breakfast very busy and unorganized for the amount of guest it served. It was so bad that we skipped day 2 free breakfast. Room was a little outdated. Some of the vending machines were out of order. Branson water is terrible. Have to pay to get a microwave in room. Was that really shampoo?. nothing. Breakfast crowded. I always seem to pick the same time to eat as everyone else. That dogs stayed there. Room smell like dogs. The rooms were a bit small. not a comfortable chair in room. Breakfast was just ok. Would have liked to have a little more variety.
