I stayed 3 nights The location was amiable to my needs, shops and resturants and hiways convenient. The hotel rate was a significant factor in choosing this hotel. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The spacious, clean and comfortable room. Looks fairly new. Free wifi and car park. Near the Apple's Hill which offers fruits picking, animals feeding, cheap and marvelous breakfast and lunch!.
all reviews » This was a nice clean and even though almost filled to capacity relatively quiet hotel. The rooms are on the smaller side but with no wasted space perfect for an overnight stop. Clean, spacious room. Pet friendly. Easy access to the Oakdale Mall and Wegmans. Fairly close to where we had to be on Saturday morning. Very affordable. We will be back. I liked the fact that my room (and about half of all rooms) fronted on an interior walkway with a garden running down its center -- rather than fronting on a parking lot. I thought the accomodations were excellent.The room was extremely clean and smelled clean. Made us feel very comfortable in that way. Location was absolutely awesome. staff, location, room. cleanliness. check in time and check out time were very nice! could check in after 1 and didn't have to check out till noon. Cleanliness, friendly staff. Close to hospital where my son was having a procedure done. Good location, easy to find, close to restaurants. The airconditioner had a broken air vents but did not impede its function. the lack of a refrigerator and coffee maker was noted but not a major issue. Our gps did not recognize the fairview street. But not to worry as we could search by Point of Interest and even found our way there. The lobby of the hotel was a little hard to find initially. There is no pull in front under a canopy to check in with the hotel. So you may have to park twice and walk but it would not be that far of a walk. Little noises here and there but nothing to major. Only one washcloth was in the room. Like most motels, walls were thin and I was awakened by conversation in next room at 4:00 am. Need to put kleenex in room. bathroom was tiny. Mattress was not that comfortable. Bathroom space was too small and we are fit and on the small size. Tiny bathroom small room. Nothing major. No complaints. The domestic dispute in the room next door from 3:30-5:30 am which involved shouting, banging, door slamming and a visit from the police was a real drag. I know this isn't the hotel's fault, but did affect my stay. outdoor corridor which is very cold in winter. extremely small room.... front desk staff could be friendlier. I would prefer coffee in the room. Had to call desk to get an ironing board, but they brought it quickly!. For the price, they should have breakfast. Even something simple like a Waffle machine and some Microwave Egg Sandwiches. Coffee, Milk and Juice.Self Service. Real Easy. If Red Roof wants to be competitive with other hotels in the area such as Comfort Suites, etc. you should offer a continental breakfast for your guests. All hotels are offering this feature for the same price that we paid for this room. staff seemed unfriendly - especially at check out. narrow tub hard to stand in outside walks worn no breakfast no in room coffe. rock hard bed, stained sheets and cover. n/a. No micro wave or fridge. No real milk for coffee. Thin walls. No hairdryer in room. No Nite Lite, Just bright only Bathroom Fan lite needs separated, so bathroom lite can double as nite lite. The bed wasn't that comfortable. Smell of tobacco everywhere outside wifi was terrible. That that brown mats on the floor look as if they needed to be washed. Was slightly uncomfortable with my toddler walking around with no shoes on in the room. But we're okay, and that's all that matters. Bathrooms. Shower head dirty Men's underwear left in bathroom First room had an odor Pillows were hard Refrigerator made noise most of the night. room was very smoky smelling eventhough it was a non smoking room. seemed to come when air conditioner came on. Claimed to be smoke free but smelled like smoke!. Staff was rude, facilities were dirty, room was not cleaned, and they placed hidden fees on the bill.
