The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. We loved the hotel and the village was totally charming with lots of great shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is also an amazing running trail that begins at the hotel's front door. The room was perfect with a great view and a fireplace!! We will definitely be returning. Rooms were large and comfortable. Very clean and well appointed. Staff were very responsive to requests. It was the last stop on our tour through Washington State and a great send off. Owners clearly have a service philosophy that they deliver on. Would definitely recommend.
all reviews » The Fairhaven Village Inn sits in the historic Fairhaven district, with shops and many places to eat. The desk people were very nice and the atmosphere is very calm. They have a nice 2nd floor patio that looks out over the street and you can see the bay. Relaxed atmosphere. All the small touches were nice as well, friendly helpful staff without being at all intrusive. very nice boutique hotel, great location, friendly, next to great waterfront hiking trail in quaint historic town. Everything! The staff was wonderful, breakfast was lovely, the room, loved it, the town and location, beautiful!. Clean and comfortable. Quiet. Friendly accommodating staff in all roles. I somehow expected to be a lot closer to the water instead of being able to see it, over the tops of industrial type buildings. The advantage they say is that you can see the water, but you are not right next to the railroad tracks, which are quite noisy with the train whistle. The breakfast that is included is pretty slim, they will prepare a waffle for you, or they have cereals, hard boiled eggs, berries, yogurt, etc. Probably expect a little more for the price. Construction site next door, constricted parking, but of course, that is reality. Nothing we didn't like. The pillows are too thick. I learned too late (after struggling through the night) that the pillows are doubled up in te pillow cases. I would like to have known that in the evening. I think that the continental breakfast could be better. It is fairly standard fare and not too imaginative. Tables in restaurant were not suitable for families of 4. They were too small or the ones that could fit 4 were too tall for our 4 year old. They put us in a ADA handicap room. Our shower was uncomfortable with the hand held shower with low water pressure. We wish they had not stuck us in this room. noisy from room to room. Train whistles @ 2:00am. front desk closes at 10 p.m. we stayed in room 202 and the bed was soft. I loved everything. The train noise waking me up every few hours. No restaurant.
