The front desk was wonderful. Anything we asked they did for us. We had requested to be onthe same floor and they actually put us next door and across the hall from each other which was wonderful. My room was the King suite which was large and very comfortable. Front counter staff were very friendly, especially Ann, & "D", sorry I can't think of the young mans name, Elizabeth was so nice at breakfast time, she took care of us, waiting on us, it was a great stay, beds comfortable, hot shower.
all reviews » Staff was friendly and helpful they did not tell us though you could not buy liquor after 7:00 so that would of been helpful when we asked were the liquor store was but did point us toward good restaurants. I loved how close it was to MCRD Parris Island. Was there for obviously a Marine graduation. Breakfast was yummy. Desk attendants were very pleasant and other than the cleaning problems we likes the hotel. Country Inn suited our needs for the one night, as we were on our way to Hilton Head. was clean, close to Parris Island for graduation, friendly staff, good breakfast. Location with very short drive to Parris Island. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast. Nice, Friendly. Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Convenient location to area attractions. Kids loved the indoor pool. Continental breakfast was good. In room microwave & mini-fridge was convenient. The rooms were nice and clean. The house keeping staff and breakfast staff were so wonderful. The room was clean and quiet. affordable. Staff at front desk was very accommodating due to the fact that we required a handicap room. Very accommodating. The staff was amazing.... Staff was very friendly. Nothing. The bathrooms could've been a little cleaner. They seem somewhat outdated and I saw some mold around the edges of the bathtub. Definitely needs an upgrade. Rooms could have been cleaner. In the bathroom of room 327 the light fixture was broken and put back together with packing tape. The walls in the bathroom looked like they had started to paint it but did not finish you could see old wallpaper between the mirror and sink like it has been missed by the painters. Housekeeping was not good. 1St night-no cups or coffee.2nd day-room was not cleaned, no clean towels, toiletries, cups or coffee. Had to call desk to get what we needed. 3Rd day-room was finally cleaned and stocked. I ALSO DID NOT GET THE HANDICAPPED IST FLOOR ROOM I HAD BOOKED. HAD TO TAKE 3RD FLOOR. WAS TOLD AT DESK IT WAS BECAUSE THE ROOM WAS BOOKED THRU AND AGENT AND NOT DIRECTLY THRU HOTEL. HAD TO TAKE THE ROOM AS ALL WERE FILLED. Was not fond of the breakfast at all. Should just provide a continental breakfast, since that was the only food that looked appetizing or edible. The hotel was very busy that morning, staff could not keep up with the demand for the hot breakfast. pool was small and looked very cloudy. Room walls/ceilings/bath require cosmetic improvements. Hotel provided printed directions to Parris Island unfortunately they are inaccurate the off ramp to PI was on the right not the left as noted on their direction sheet. Inability to check in before 3 without additional costs. Better integration needed with credit card processing. Outside key-entry was broken, so anyone could come in from outside (not secure). Room seemed damp with AC running. We were visited by a few "Palmetto bugs" in-room (my husband woke up to one in bed with him). Mold/mildew in pool area & hallway near pool area. The front desk staff were rude and dismissive to concerns. I like the hotel alot but because of the front desk staffs attitude when we had a billing concern, I would never stay there again. My mom is 75 and she spoke to her very ugly. The room pictures advertized was not right when we arrived it was not the same as I looked at and made my decision to get The breakfast was not what was advertized. Pool area Work out room furniture outside doors all open (no locks) breakfast not impressive noisy hallway by side entrance very run down. Poor working air conditioner if any at times. Bathroom was not clean. There were roaches in our room and the hallways were hot. I couldn't change payment type due to booking thru letsbookhotel.com. Hotel had too many problems to mention. everything. Don't stay here!.
