First, we loved the location! It is elegant and corporate and near a mall, etc., yet it is in a cozy wooded property. Thanks to Sonesta, we found much better than expected: two rooms with baths, full kitchen, wonderfully comfortable beds, lr with third tv, hot breakfast, super- friendly staff, clean and lovely facility with exercise room and laundry. We even liked the staff's incorporating the construction theme into their decor and dress. Absolutely beats every other place for price and comfor.
all reviews » The complimentary breakfast buffet and appetizers were so good. Chantel and Victoria did wonderful at the front desk from check-in to check-out. Robin, Elizabeth, and staff kept us supplied with towels, etc. Angelica and staff did a wonderful job on the buffet. You all were so helpful in making my family's stay a wonderful one. Keep up the good work and promote Chantel to Manager already! Thank you. I liked the homey feel of having 2 bedrms and 2 bathrms wit a full kitchen..gotta say the beds were the most comfortable beds I ever slept in outside of my own home and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. I didnt get a chance to meet with other guest for the wine and light snacks but that was also an added plus. We had the best service here with Sonesta. We travel with the Louisville team when they play out of town and Sonesta greeted us with amazing hospitality and followed through until the end. The rooms were great in size, the kitchen was just perfect(we cooked meals everynight), and we were accomadated to the fullest. I loved the room setup. We enjoyed the two bedroom suite which had a loaded kitchen so all we bought was food it was fully equipped with toaster, stove, fridge, and all cooking utensils. I loved everything about the hotel. It was very spacious. The morning breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel. It was an a very good area. I love the design and the space, it was very comfortable and cozy. It felt like being at home for us which was very, very nice. The staff was excellent and helpful. They were courtesy and followed every request that I asked prior to booking my suite. Good bed. Good shower. Good breakfast. Pleasant and attentive staff - always happy to help! Very comfortable. Loved that it had two seperate bedrooms with two seperate baths for such a low cost. low budget luxury black staff guest service was excellent breakfast was good. The fact it was an all suites location. The complimentary snacks and breakfast. The hotel was bigger than what I expected for the price!!!. The breakfast was nice. I liked the breakfast. That was the only thing consistent with promises made before booking. I got more than i expected for the price. I was very satisfied with my stay. I would stay there again. The taxes on the room. Have a designated place to serve alcohol AWAY from children. I must say my family and I have no complaints..the weather was pretty bad while we were there but nothing to do with Sonesta. House keeping could have cleaned the kitchen better. The utensils were a little. I did not like that our room was not ready on time. I also did not like that house keeping did not change bedding daily. They rush you out at check out as well which I thought was flawed considering it was there fault we couldnt check in on time. But overall I would recommend to friends and family it was nice especially for the decent pricing. There is nothing I didn't like. The only complaint was the long wait time for our suite to become available upon arrival and that there was no shuttle available mentioned by the staff. cleaning service should be done daily unless a privacy sticker is on the door. Television need to be upgraded to flatscreen. Lastly Satellite television should be obsolete, when inclement weather all stations go out. It is not relaxing when noise comes from the television. Noisy upstairs neighbors. housekeeping wasn't available on certain days it was a roach crawling on the headboard. Front desk employees did not pay attention to front desk. only thing is the staff is more than happy to give towels. but once we got the hang of things it was alright after that. The cleaning staff and the noise level between floors. Also, mature couples and business travelers should be seperated from families with children as much as possible. Furthermore, the smoking outside the rooms and the litering was terrible. Layout of closet and bathroom. Couch needed to be replaced or professionally cleaned. I didnt like that the sign is hidden by trees and you do not actually see the hotel until you are up on it and almost past it...I also didnt like that kids stayed above us so where I was sleeping in they were up running around outside and they sounded like a heard of elephants. My room was also located in the back and was very inconvient bringing luggage, shopping bags etc to and from the car to the room...and one night I stayed out until midnigh and there was ABSOLUTELY no where to park. The room was very dated and a little worn. Shabby and a little depressing. Not secured enough. One night while I was there some strange person kept knocking on the door. I called front desk to report and was told that they would check it out. No update followed. The pictures I saw online was a whole lot better than we actually got.
