Breakfast was good. Housekeeping supervisor was courteous and willing to please, she went out of her way to ensure that needs were met. Front desk person was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Free upgrade to jacuzzi room because they didn't have the reservation. Clean spacious room Great bed Small but nice pool Breakfast was ok. The hotel had a number of amenities we hadn't previously seen in a hotel in this budget range. Good breakfast.

You need to get the highway dept. to trim back the trees along the approaching highway so that the hotel sign can be seen before you are right up on it. It is a fast turn to get over in the right hand lane with the merging traffic from I-240. Otherwise I have nothing else. Bedside lamps difficult to turn off and on. Booked non-smoking room received smoking room, was not informed by staff of smoking room instead of non-smoking room. letsbookhotel.com was able to help with to modify reservation. Terrible breakfast. At night the Heat/AC unit made an annoying sound on a regular basis that disturbed my sleep. Maintenance stated it was just the nature of the unit. room was terribly damp and humid - the floor felt wet, giving the place a rather dank feeling. Pool uninviting - outdoors between the parking lot and the highway. Breakfast not great, and way too much plastic waste. Doors open to the outside No restaurant onsite Problems with tv Loud heater/Ac window unit. When we checked in the woman working at the front desk was very rude and not accommodating. She claimed she had been working there for nine years but I don't know how she was even hired. Located on a very busy road not an ideal setting for a stop whilst driving thro the Blue Ridge Mountains. Carpet and floor always seemed damp. Sorry but eggs at buffet were terrible. Waffle was delicious!. No phone reception. No internet connection/reception. The room phone didn't work. It was way overpriced for what it was actually worth. Bugs in roomf.
