It was clean. The pillows were excellent!!! I thought about stuffing one in my purse. :) The fridge was excellent to store our food in and the microwave was very convenient. Great to have that in the room without paying extra for it. Plus the location of being right across the street from Six Flags was perfect. after booking the room i was horrified when reading reviews about the hotel and i was praying that it was all a mistake, but when i arrived, i was happy to see that the hotel was in decent condition and not what was stated on the reviews.
all reviews » The staff was so friendly.They helped us with the trolly service to the Rangers baseball game. the room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great, many choices. GREAT price. The bed was great, soft comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room was roomy, and best of all on a hot Texas day the room was already cool when we walked in. This is a great place to stay. price point was great for weekend budget, location to Six Flags and Ballpark @ Arlington is outstanding. Beds and pillows comfortable. Location with shuttle to Six Flags made the decision for us, but the price was fine and the building well cared for. I like that the hotel was across the street from Six Flags. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Stay was fine but it was just for one night. Bed was alittle to firm bit otherwise great. It was a very harsh smell and when we left for the day I could still smell it on us. the only thing that i would have to dislike is that the pool was not an in-door pool. the day we came wouldve been nice to have gone for a swim but the weather outside was windy and cold and it made the atttempt uncomfortable. nothing!. Parking!. little dated, ac system performed but could have been better. The breakfast area is crowded in the mornings making it hard to get any breakfast. Most hotels serve breakfast until 10am. At Baymont the breakfast was over at 9am. Breakfast was cold, elevator trapped us twice, remote to TV didn't work. The sink had some black dirt stuff on it. The hallway was really smokey. No wash cloths. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced. Very worn and torn. There was a stain on the top bed sheet. The shuttle only runs if you call and set it up the day before?? Very unprofessional.I arrived at the airport and called for my ride and was informed the shuttle wasn't running. I didn't set it up. Never heard of this before and was not informed when I phoned the day before and inquired about the shuttle. wobbly tables ( at least 4) rubbish coffee in rooms - cheap. Not clear instructions to eateries. The carpet needed cleaning. We walked around in our room in socks and they were really dirty when we left. The desk clerk seemed to be put out with me but seemed to have plenty of time for male customers. Age of facilities but if it were newer then it might cost more so I am good with the way it was. Nothing. The carpet in the stairway has alot of traffic dirt. The continental breakfast was not good. That the breakfast was over at NINE. we did not even get up until then one of the days. Plus the day we could go it was crowded and hard to navigate in the small breakfsat room. no soda machine on floor. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. The people in the room above us were stomping around until 2:00 am and made it hard to sleep. The lobby was hot and the breakfast room. Game shuttles too slow & too far from stadium too late 11 pm we didn't get bk till 12:30 am. I specifically asked for non smoking and they gave me a smoking room,toliet made noises,shower didnt drain properly,staff is dumb too their job, kitchen staff didnt even speak english,i wont be back!!!!! Very outdated... There were no large towels or wash rags in the room and there wasn't a remote to tv. Instead of the staff bringing those items to our room we were asked to come get them. Refridgerator did not work. The A/C had a hard time keeping the room cool. Took 25 minutes to check in bc the front desk girl crashed the computer. bathroom small, towels were rough. the bathroom was not clean. The drain in the shower was broken and we told the front desk and no one came to fix it. We had standing water the whole stay. We checked in very late after driving all day and whe we went into the room we rented on the 2nd floor the beds were not made and the linens were on the floor. We also renteda room on the 3rd floor and the whole 3rd floor smelled of Marijuana. Staff told me my reservation was for smoking room. Told her it wasn'T. Was placed in smoking room and told tyhere were no other rooms. Called letsbookhotel.com customer service and had them call front desk with true reservation for non-smoking room. Was told we were being upgraded a king suite. Got to new room and it was a regular non-smoking room. The staff cant be trusted. Room was old. Inside lock on door was broken. Window lock was broken. There were missing knobs on the dressers. We got stuck in the elevator. Not a great experience. There stains on the carpet, the carpet didn't look like it had been vaccumed. There was something wrong with the elevator. There wasn't always someone at the desk. Pillows are very thin and cheap. Toilet paper very thin. Room was very hot at check in. Entryway was hot and their was only one clerk checking people in around 3 pm, prime check in time should have two people. They never had the air conditioner on at all. It was miserable. From the moment that you walked in - to the moment that you got on to the elevator - down the halls and into your room. The rooms had a very musky smell - like the air hadn't been turned on in months. Just not a good feeling walking the halls and in the lobby. the hotel was not very clean, they did not have rooms stocked with washcloths...or blankets. batteries were dead on remote... breakfast was ok...but had to ask lady to restock everything. Didn't get the right room. Reserved a king bed, and got a queen handicap unit! Not very clean, and a lot of loud traffic in and out up all night. The bedroom didnt have ac on until we got in there so it was hot. The bath tub didn't drain. The room still had somebody else's dirty clothes left in it. Sheets were nasty stained up. And the place stunk.
