Very nicely remodeled rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness. Staff was moderately friendly, the best was reasonably comfortable and everything was in working condition. Overall I was really impressed with the room. it had vacancy when we needed it was not much out of the way coming from Colorado Springs. clean rooms with everything we needed in the bathroom. coffee in the morning was nice always has ice when we needed it. over all it was great.
all reviews » We liked the price, the desk person's friendliness & efficiency, the neatness and cleanliness of the room and the location right off highway 40. The a/c & tv worked. The water was hot. The towels and soap were fresh. The room was modern and very clean. I really had no major complaints here. Smoker friendly. Everything you need in the room. Good location. Close to a Walmart for supplies. Simple room with TV and WIFI. Good vaue!!. The young lady was helpful and very nice. Loved the desk clerk and bamboo floors!. The reservation speed, and price. This is a place that I would want if all you want to do is sleep w/o all the extra's, It was clean, and had just what you needed for a nights sleep. It was right off the interstate and very easy to find. It was also close to places to eat and shop. Hard floors help reduce dirt accumulation common with carpet. good location. The Location. Convenience. Location. Nothing. Motel 6 doesn't always attract the most pleasant types, being a budget motel, and the bathroom smelt heavily of marijuana. But it was clean!. n/a. I don't like rooms with doors that open onto the sidewalk but that is what Motel 6 is. The room was not fancy but it lived up to what it promised which was a clean place to sleep and a nice hot shower in the morning. A very strong smell of bleach was present in the room. The room was not sealed well by the door because the smell of smoke from people smoking outside came in the room. The location was so so. Air conditioner not adequate. Nothing to dislike. It's a Motel 6 - generic and basic. no internet!!!!!!!! shouldn'T have to pay for internet. No restaurants nearby :-(. The ice machine was in the lobby, and there was only one vending machine and it too was in the lobby causing guest to have to walk all the way to the lobby, and not in a convene area for guest. No shampoo, no coffee maker. The Freeway is just outside the door so of course their is a lot of noise. Ask for the back side of the building. The bedding in the room we stayed in had lots of stains, and it was really noisy. No shampoo furnished. Also, for the money, room should have had a coffee pot and a fridge/microwave. poor building condition overall ... pipes banging, clanging intermittently all night long. Very interrupted sleep. The air didn't work that great. Extra charge for WI-FI. Website showed pictures of microwave and a frig - not true!!. Bed was hard. No kleenix, towels and wash cloths so thin you could see through. Linen rough and scratchy. Very bad area near the airport. Toilet ran, water was awful tasting.... We were going to stay there on our way back through Amarillo and cancelled it.
