The decor is great as well as the location to food, activities and groceries. Bar and restaurant on site. Spacious room. Washer/dryer on site (which we used). Love that there are several places to lounge around, from the upstairs and downstairs to the pool and jacuzzi. The balcony on our room. The lovely attention to detail in the entire first floor; the kind and considerate staff - all of them; balloon views from front balconies; free and more than adequate parking;cleanliness of halls, public areas, and rooms; in/outside pool. Happy hour prices. Neat hotel!.

Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Room was always serviced when I came back for the evening, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had two problems upon check-in: 1) noisy air conditioner 2) barking dog in adjoining room They took care of both problems immediately!. Quite rooms to relax in. Artist room extra cost, but makes the stay enjoyable. Excellent location to enjoy the city area to and from. I liked the friendliness of the staff, the location & the magnificent view of the Sandias that I had from the window of my room!. Travis who checked us in was a great help and very friendly! The beds were super comfy and the hotel was very relaxing. The ambiance and interior design of the lobby was easy on the eyes. The staff was very helpful. The pool was nice. The beds were soooo comfortable!!! Decor was beautiful and room was very clean. Staff was friendly!. The Indian heritage displayed throughout the facilities. Our mattress felt worn out and we had a centipede come out of our bathroom sink when I was brushing my teeth. 7-8 inches long. Scared the heck outta me but the staff removed it and placed it in a bag. Cigarette butts behind front walls not picked up. No lunch served, but breakfast until 4 pm? Odd, that. (A french dip sandwich w/horseradish and a Bloody Mary available before 4pm would be nice, but that's just me). Air conditioning did not cool down the room enough. Setting was at lowest cool option, but did not cool down enough. Room 517. It could have been a bit cleaner overall. the elevator in the hotel was a little slow and on one of our last days there the room keeping did not replace our towels in the room. The hot tube was out of order. The sauna was out of order. The elevator was down for a while. The two Saturday night events, a prom and an alumni dinner were noisy. The fact that you have to pay to print out your boarding passes is absurd. Didn't like listening to conversations and tv's in rooms on both sides of us. Need updated doors with sound proofing between rooms. The pool was closed the 2nd day of our trip. The beds are awefull (too soft). Pool was closed due to maintenance. A little noisy at times. Rooms need some sound proofing. Didn't bother me, I sleep heavy. The room carpets could use shampooing. Not enough towels/washcloths for 2 adults & 1 child. I asked for more and received them quickly. No problems. the lock on our door was broken, the door was pretty beat up. Service in restaurant very slow and bar was slow...barking dog woke us up...should save 1st floor for pet owners....so they don't disturb other people....restaurant was disappointed. Had breakfast way to expensive for what we got and the food was cold....need softer towels. The pool was out of service. n/a. My air conditionar was a little loud. I had to keep turning the tv volume up and down. The shower head was broken. It worked but I had to move it by hand to rinse. The pool opens at 7 a.m. and our room was on the backside of the building above the building that housed the indoor/outdoor pool. At 7 am we were awoken by screaming children at the pool. When I called to complain I was told the building that houses the pool amplifies the sound. If this is the case why in the world would you open the pool at 7 am?. The Spirit Cafe didn't open untill 7:00 am, had to wait for coffee!!. Leaving. Bar prices were too high. although I was told by staff that the hotel has ONE luggage cart I never seen evidence of that. When I checked in the front desk clerk and maintenance man helped me with my luggage but when I checked out I had to make 4 trips from the 5th floor to get my luggage to my car. The room had two adjoining doors with people in both rooms. There is no sound barrier whatsoever, both sets of people might as well have been in bed with us; we could hear each and every word spoken clearly as if they were in the same room. Their children were screaming and everyone was animated at 11:00pm and we could not sleep. This is not acceptable. I would never stay at this facility again for that reason alone. Suggestion - microwaves in rooms. I liked everything except for, my blow dryer didn't work. But it was replaced withing 10 minutes of my phone call, to report it. Noisy room above the pool. We were put on the side without a view and close to the pool which was loud with kids playing. stairs were blocked because of an event. The pool and hot tub we're closed. Should know that when booking. loud rock music in loby. Breakfast was not included. And, the staff wasn't always on the ball. Their restaurant didn't have olive oil for the salad. The breakfast was awful. Waited 20 mins for someone to take breakfast order and another 20 mins for breakfast to arrive. Only 1 waitress on duty. Bed to soft, no coffee pot in room, no hair dryer in bathroom, air conditioner very noisy,door on room needed to be replaced. Hair on pillows/towels, torn curtain, one coffee pack only instead of two in a king room, can be loud/thin walls. Noisy place. From our room on the 3rd floor, you can hear the freeway traffic, people starting their vehicles in the parking lot, a guy talking/yelling on his cell phone from the parking lot at 3am. Not a quiet, restful sleep at all. The room also felt a little old. We could hear people partying at 2 am next door. The guest in front of me was instructed about the facilities available, however, nothing was mentioned to me or my family. The air conditioning was not adequate even though it was set to 60 degrees. Not enough places to put personal items down on (luggage, toilet items, etc.) Slow elevator. Comforter on bed was too heavy and didn't look clean. Large lounge chair in room took up too much space. I tripped over it during the night and fell flat on the floor. Couldn't satisfactorily adjust the air conditioner for comfort; ended up turning it off and the room got very cold. This property needs a major updating. It's old and tired. The room air conditioning was marginal and the room itself was stifflingly hot when when we arrived. It took a long time to cool down. Choose facility because of fitness center and sauna and whirlpool advertising.Fitness center has a few treadmills and nothing else and there is no sauna only a whirlpool. I will not stay again. Very loud lots of kids. Elavator was not working, had to use stairs 5th floor. Attention to detail was terrible rooms in terrible repair pool freezing lights went out in room door missing latch.
