  At first glance you would be forgiven for thinking the hotel has nothing of worth surrounding it. But it actually has a giant shopping complex next door, plenty of good restaurants, the metro station is very close and there is quite a large park a little further away. The breakfast was also decent and the room had kettle facilities. I travel extensively and the Cosmopolite must be one of the better hotels that I have stayed in over the last 25 years. Well Done !!

  The location was great with the hotel situated in a park, buses ran along the street in front of the hotel and the metro underground was about a 15 minute walk away and is quite cheap & fast travel.   I was quite worried when I read the other reviews for this hotel on letsbookhotel.com. But actually everything was just perfect! The location is good, close to the center and to the Palace of Sports (I visited a competition there and that's why I chose this hotel). St - The hotel was located quite well. Up on a hill over the Olympic stadium with only a 10 minute walk to the main street. Breakfast wasn't huge but it was decent with several options eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc. Wifi was good enough to video chat with so that was nice. I liked that there were water coolers on each floor so I could easily have drinking water.

  This is my second stay at Staro and I cannot say enough about the hotel and especially the staff. I truly believe this is the best hotel in Kiev. Yes it is not right in the city center, but it is still the best! The food in the restaurant is top notch European/Ukrainian food.   My second time at Bontiak Hotel. All was like I remembered from the first experience (very nice!). They were so kind to give me the same room I was on the first time (I wish that). I like the coffee machine in the room, the TV and the bed is great. The personal is very friendly and also the driver of the transfer to airport.
