I loved the central location of this nice cozy hotel downtown. Appreciated attentiveness of the staff and most of all their diplomacy in handling a confusion that occurred during hotel booking. Nice and pleasant service during breakfast. Shift manager Artem did his best in addressing my needs. My check-out was around 6.30 am, before breakfast time. The hotel surprised me with a take-away box with my breakfast ready, so I enjoyed my meal on the train. I mentioned to the hotel earlier that I do n.

The hotel is in a great location, the center of the city, great view from the window. All is fine and there are no flaws. If you like to reminisce about the good olde soviet days, this is the place to stay. Plus the staff are very helpful. I am told that a certain famous revolutionary general stayed at the Astoria. The breadfast was bountiful!. 20 minutes walking from train station Clean. Staff friendly. Staff spoke English reasonably well. Very old building, high ceilings, big rooms. Very cool elevator :). Very clean, great location, good breakfast. Quality of service per money. It is in a very convenient place near the Dnieper River, nice old fashion building. It was a bit cold when I got into my room. I then realized that the heater was not on. So, I turned it on and it took a while to get the large room warm again. Everything is perfect impression of the room is not spoiled edible breakfast! You can die of hunger! Porridge bags, fruit zero vegetables - Sluggish old cucumbers and tomatoes probably from the 2012 harvest ...... And to finish breakfast can be iced tea. But near (200 meters) is a fine restaurant Comrade # # CAAX. It may be fine for breakfast, lunch and dinner! It saved from starvation!. The street signage is so chic and small that it makes the location difficult to find. Also, apparently there are two entrances. WiFi did not work in the room, only in the lobby area it seems. All rooms have "Avenue view". Too noise for summer. If you like to sleep with fresh air suggest you choose other place. A tad expensive, I honestly expected more for this kind of money. It is normal (not big) working table is more suitable than tea table. It is small and it doesn't have a lot of things to do. -poor eqipment. Organization, Room old and poor, Breakfast ... Better not include Breakfast in the facilities... if this is the Breakfast, price really too high for the Value of the Hotel.
