  Lovely warm welcome, which continued throughout our stay of two nights. The room was spotless and had everything we needed for our short stay. The breakfasts were delicious and nothing too much trouble for our wonderful hosts. First class B&B. Lovely genuine and friendly hosts. Staff lovely, left the phone charger in the room when we left, Manager posted it back to me next day, no problem. Breakfast delightful. Would definitely go back.

  The location was perfect, very central for the city's main attractions, especially the Minster and the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early but they kept our bags and put them in the room when it was ready. Our room (Nr 2) was spacious with a very comfortable bed and, if the furniture was not new, it was... what people say » very well maintained. The shower was a good size and there was heating both in the room and in the en-suite bathroom. Even though the reception is no - The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and since the room was ready, they let us go upstairs and freshen up before sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the wall. It was within walking distance to everything and had free parking for our rental car. I can highly recommend Gregorian House.

  The staff that were there were excellant and could not do enough for us.. Its situation to york was fantastic only a five min walk. - The staff member we dealt with at reception was very friendly, helpful and always willing to help at any point.

  The new managers had just taken over and had many issues to deal with. They made us feel very welcome and accomodated our needs well. The hotel needs some TLC but is comfortable and the rooms were adequate for the price. Overall, a nice place to stay near to the city (15 Min) walk or bus directly outside, generous parking area. - it was very hand... what people say » y for the city, the rooms were clean and comfortable. there was ample free parking . the rates were very good . this is a very basic facility, but I would stay again. there was some road noise but I suspect they are in a conservation area so double glazing is not possible

  It was close to city centre, about 15 minutes walk. Cute little room with a comfy bed. Not a lot of frills, but didn't feel like anything I needed was really lacking. Had a cozy inn kind of feel to it. The staff was very nice and let us keep our car in the car park after we checked out so we could wander the city a bit. - friendly people , good b... what people say » eer , cheap good accomadation , after reading some of negative reports was bit dubious , but we couldnt find anything wrong . the smell of the restraunt was unnoticable , the room was good , nothing falling apart as had been reported , we would definatley stop there again
