The staff and cleaning ladies were very friendly and helpful. I arrived a little early by car, the staff was very helpful and cleaned the room for me while I got a free coffee in the pub. the bathroom was very clean, big and modern with a spacious shower, enough space for 2 people (room 206). The room was cosy, I appreciated that I could make coffee and tea in my room. Free parking for my car and free wifi.The pub /restaurant was very cosy and very english. I enjoyed both my dinners at the Pu.
all reviews » The bed was very comfortable. And there were plenty of extra pillows. Plus if you had forgot any personal items the inn had a free facility that supplied them .it also had a good size bathroom and shower and a fan if it got too hot .menus were supplied for the pub attached and the food and attention from the staff was fantastic we had a lovely stay plus it was close to the shopping area as it was only a short walk away and plenty of parking . The staff was amazing. All of them were very helpful and hard working to keep everyone taken care of..We enjoyed our stay because they all were so helpful and pleasent. The location to the train station is perfect to go to London, Waterloo..we parked our car at the Inn and walked or took the train. Very nice..rooms were clean and well kept. We ate well too.. Large clean comfortable room,excellent thick fluffy towels.Had a great nights sleep.Staff very helpful and friendly.Pub grub great and meals served till 10 at night,free breakfast good.Location brilliant,within easy walking distance of Woking centre and all the shops.Fantastic value for money.Would definitely recommend and will use again if in the area. I arrived early after a trans-atlantic and they got me into a room very quickly and even found me a small bite to eat even with the kitchen closed. I will highly recommend this property. Room was clean and very comfy. I liked the fact it was possible to book 6 single rooms at a reasonable price. The room was cosy, the bed comfy and the bathroom spacious and very clean. We had a very nice meal in the evening and I enjoyed my breakfast at a window table with a view over the park. Well the staff were attentive , nothing was a problem. The room was lovely and although there were lots of different places to eat in town within a 5 minute walk my family found and preferred to eat at the hotel as it was lovely and great value . Bedroom comfortable and good space, en-suite very clean, evening meal good plain food as I like it, the stay there was straightforward with no complexity, no delays. A very good breakfast bar - I liked the fact it was all there to self-help. Well placed for visiting Thorpe park, I had a massive family room , plenty of tea n coffee , food n pub down stairs brilliant . Stay here for Thorpe park or what ever you like near by , brilliant value and quality. Aggie and Hannah were so friendly , helpful and welcoming and went out of their way to ensure guests had a comfortable stay.The food was excellent and plenty of choice, I will definitely stay there again. the hotel overall was excellent for what we chose it for which was a base to travel to and from for golf at wentworth breakfast was excellent and overall very good value for money. Unbelievable for the charges.Spotless room, cosy in the bar, courteous above average from staff.weshall find another reason to return at some stage.Congratulations to all there. But for simpel internett browsing it was ok. Nothing. Our room was comfortable but we would have liked to had a few more things available to us with out having to ask for them. A map showing people from out of town how and where to go would be nice. And paper backed copies of War of the Worlds would be a great thing to have to available for all of us out of town holiday visitors to buy and take home..What a fun bit of special history that you all could share with us.. Nothing not to like but plug sockets by the bed would have been handy.For my own personal preference would like some cheese on offer with the continental breakfast as not keen on jam and marmalade. There was not one thing that I did not like. Breakfast was included. There was a dish with apples and other fruit but I would have liked some raspberries, strawberries, etc to have with my yougurt. Nothing as it was a great couple of days and we loved the place. Only one thing - the tables in the main room were sticky and clearly are not properly wiped - needs more than a quick wipe - I had to use a serviette under the plates to feel clean enough to eat there. The doors going through the building to the room could be cleaner too. For the price theres nothing to pick fault with . Nothing!. it was all good. No faults, apart from fan comes loud in the night when you turn bathroom light on, and woke my wife. (Problem of being old, you need the loo during the night!). Nothing to report. There was a major problem with the water. However, the staff did everything to help. nothing. Bed was a bit hard, but that is individual taste. Nothing. Nothing!. Access to rooms awkward for elderly, had to help elderly lady with walking frame through narrow self closing doors and down stairs. Some of the staff could be a little friendlier, tho manager was excellent. Ordered bangers and mash and sausages came out burnt, otherwise meals were fine. The rooms become hot in daytime. Single Occupancy room is very small. At times, a feeling of stuffiness. More ventilation is required. WI-FI access not easy. The furniture in the bedroom is a bit outdated. Creaky floorboards, too many fire doors to open and close i.e.seven to get into the room!. The fan starting up at seven that woke us up as it was next to the window. The back of the inn was a little run down. Brekfast could have more variety. Nothing. the cooked breakfast tiny bathroom. No fridge in room. Disabled facilities could have been better. No bottled water or Fridge in room. Not enough parking for a hotel and pub combined. No fridge in Rooms. Nothing. Breakfast was a bit unorganised and we felt a little 'left to our own devices'. Unfortunately on this occasion we had to wait an hour for food which detracted from the good service on my previous stay. More kitchen staff required?.
