  We found this delightful place very near to the village center. The owner and her daughter were extremely polite, caring and helpful, on our arrival they had provided us with loads of guides and plenty of info for our hiking trip across and around the lakes. And breakfast every morning was something to look forward to at this place, most attentive... what people say » indeed. We highly recommend anyone to try them. P.S. Loved the 'honesty box/drawer', where you were asked to leave 50 pence for any mineral water bot - We had room 3 with the 4 poster bed, it was soooooo comfortable! Diane the b&b owner was very hospitable, she tailored our stay to meet our needs, my friend left her electric cigarette charger at home so Diane let us use her personal computer to charge it. Also, when we got there Diane had left leaflets and a map on our bed, this helped so much during our stay. The breakfast was nice and the location is perfect, a 5 minute walk in to the village of windemere and a 20 minute walk to bowness

  We were greeted by the owner who was very lovely and friendly and showed to our room. The hotel is really nice, excellent rooms, very clean, great shower. The breakfast was lovely and served by very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone. - A very friendly welcome. Comfortable room, immaculate, quiet.
