  Everyone at the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms and public aeas are spotlessly clean and comfortable.We decided to have dinner on the first night and it was so delicious we had it every other day too! (we stayed for 3 nights). There was plenty of variety and all our meals were cooked to perfection and well-presented. Amazing val... what people say » ue at around £15 for 5 courses! Breakfast was served at the table, so everything was freshly-cooked with lots of choice including smoothies. We were r - The Saxonville has a slightly old fashioned feel to it, and none the worse for that. There was plenty of public space. The service was excellent. It is a bit out of town, but this is not a problem if you can walk half a mile, as the town centre, in season, is heaving. A relaxing place for a comfortable break. We only had one dinner in, but it was great value.

  The breakfasts were excellent and we could come and go as we please.Room were big and comfy and the location of the hotel is very nice. Thestaff were very nice and even left my niece sweets on her pillow whichwas lovely. - The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.   I cannot rate this hotel enough. We stayed a few weeks ago after deciding to show some American friends our country. We drove down to Whitby from Lichfield and booked a two room aprtment at the resolution hotel. Firstly we arrived early and this was no porblem. we were given insturctions ove rteh phone to the local car park and also had our bags t... what people say » aken from us and taken to our room whilst we slipped away for some lunch. when we arrived back we were blown away by the view from our extremly comfor - We stayed at the resolution for valentines night and we can't fault it at all. We got a very good deal on the room which made it amazing value for money! We stayed in a double room, which was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely well stocked full of toiletries, drink making facilities, fan, hair dryer, safe etc The view was amazing!!! A gorgeous out look of the bay and the abbey over the roof tops of Whitby :) The staff were lovely and the breakfast was fabulous!!! 10/10 we would rec

  The first stop on our honeymoon, and stayed in the annexe. This room was located across from the main hotel. It was very quite, well appointed with everything you needed for a nights stay. The bathroom was great, funky blue light under the mirror, very modern and clean. Bed comfortable. with additional blankets and pillows if you need them. Breakfast - The White House Hotel was a very nice surprise for us and we certainly can recommend this hotel to fellow travellers. We were in the annex room 19 which was handy for us with parking and if door open a view to golf course and the cliffs. Breakfast was especially nice with the services of Kristy & Cystral and their humorous remarks to us Aussies. A beautiful walk into Whitby along the cliff top or you can go along by the esplanade. We had dinner at the hotel on one night and we can't praise

  Everything at Prospect House and Whitby was perfect ,the proximity of the transport connections and town area was just right-close without being in it.   very relaxing couple of days, hotel both inside and outside kept to a very good standard, staff very helpful and bedroom had lovely views over the countryside, a very clean and well kept hotel. - The staff were polite and efficient, the room was well maintained and clean, the food in the restaurant was extremely good. All in all an excellent stay.

  The guest hose is pretty close to the Whitby station, a 10 minutes walk away. The lady owner and her daughters were very nice, jolly and cordial. The room I was staying was a single room. Though a bit too small, but was enough for a single person to stay. Was clean and had a nice bed. The guest house had an wi-fi and the signal strength was decent... what people say » . - The guest house is run by a friendly couple and their daughter who go out of their way to look after you . they are really nice people . its a guest house not a posh hotel ,but our room was very nice , quiet,clean & comfortable with a kettle ,tea coffee ect. Breakfast is tasty and plentyful .with a good choice.
