It was at the quieter end of the beach, which suited us, with a fabulous view of the bay, and with carefully worked out parking arrangements. The town seemed to have facilities for all ages - in no particular order; sandy beach, restaurants, interesting shops, a working yet picturesque harbour, castle, nature reserve, small children's funfair, cinema, great scenery in either direction, including the spectacular Chesil Beach and Portland Bill, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

The owners are welcoming, friendly, eager to oblige and the breakfasts are cooked fresh, individually served and well presented even for my gluten free requirements. It was also great to have a parking facility at the premises. The Redcliff is a charming B&B in an excellent location. The loft room was a great size, very comfortable for two people, and had a truly excellent view of the sea. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the breakfasts were lovely. Would definitely return. Excellent location. Very warm,friendly,and so welcoming owners,who could not do enough for us. Nice clean rooms. first class food. We wont hesitate to stay here again,and Highly recommend the Redcliff. The location is great, 25 yards from beach and sea, a quiet and clean area yet close to all the attractions of Weymouth. Not much going on in the town of Weymouth. After Taunton motorway exit, Weymouth is very difficult to reach, in time, especially. the loft is really tiny. Not suitable for elderly guest. It's not a bad mark, just a suggestion. nothing. The pillows were of very cheap quality and not comfortable. The wall lights above the double bed in room 2 were a little too low and we could not sit up and read properly. no marmite sachets offered at breakfast, that would have been great as we don't eat jam nor does my child! :). Loft room was disappointing - mattress was far too big for the frame of the bed, which overhung on one side! Towels were far too small. Room was tired and in need of decoration. Lovely cooked breakfast and hosts friendly. Was shabby and needed a lick of piant and tlc.
