location wise good, if your going to warwick castle , park there and walk the 10 or so minutes to the castle, just remember the roads you walked down, opposite the pub is a sainsburys and 2 doors up kebab house , there is a bus stop near by. The people running this b&b are very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The b&b is only a few minutes walk from the town's tourist sites and 15 minutes from the railway station. I would certainly stay here again.
all reviews » Ideal little hotel if you want easy access to the town, car parking and a clean room. This is just great if you understand that this is a small pub/hotel with rooms. I loved it and will use it in future. The lady running the bar asked us where we were heading the next day. We said Warwick castle and then she gave us a 2 for 1 voucher for the castle which saved us £23! good wide screen TV Good parking. Rooms are in courtyard at the back - quiet, private, easy access (great with dog). Good location for stopover while travelling; dog friendly; nothing fancy but would definitely use again. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless clean and the breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. The Black Horse is also very convenient for the racecourse. Really friendly (and helpful ) staff. clean and spacious rooms . very good value for money ..Also quiet at night. Close proximity to local tourist spots /restaurants and shops. The staff very very friendly , told us where the best places were to go. Lovely big home cooked breakfast served in the old historic dining room. We were kept warm over night. The rooms seem to be let mainly to builders during the week. Expect to be woken early by their vans. Do not stay here if you have children as the rooms are too small. TV did not work. My room was very dated Shower needs replacing Bed was too firm for me. Room only had basic facilities & some of the fittings were poor [room door lock, windows, & no table & drawers]. The bar menu was very limited.
