The White Swan is a lovely little establishment in a quiet village. The surrounding area is lovely, the staff were very pleasant, helpful and professional, even a table booked for dinner. The food in the resturant was excellent, and breakfast was also excellent. The rooms were tidy and clean, the bed comfortable. Excellent value for money, glad i found this hotel. This hotel is superb value for money, the room was clean, the food in the bar is excellent and above all it was nice and quiet, highly recommended for value for money and far nicer than some hotels I have staid in at the double the price. all reviews »
Quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff we met were most helpful. The village is beautiful and really quaint and it made a nice change to stay somewhere with some character. The bed was very comfortable.Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Great history and setting of The White Swan and village. Very peaceful. Food was superb. Very good value overall. Staff very helpful and the atmosphere was good. I was looked after even though they had a big event on the evening I stayed.Great country side hotel located in a real contry side village
Hotel staff was very nice. Great food, friendly staff, very quiet at night.Pleasently situated pub with friendly and efficient staff and excellent food. menu, service and quality of the restaurant. The food - it was excellent. Good evening meal, and the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! Also excellent local beer - what more do you want?. Excellent Breakfast. The Evening Meal was excellent. The food was fine.Nothing negative to report. Not enough parking spaces but considering the locale and age of place, would be a crime to build more!. bathroom crampt and old. Booking out and paying the bill was difficult. No bell to ring so had to search for someone in the kitchen - not good really. Also the bathroom - shower only was freezing cold in the morning.It was a shame thast only after I booked it told me that it did not open on the Sunday night no food or drink. The room was noisy with the bathroom sanitory arrangements leavingsomething to be desired. The outflows passed through some kind ofgrinder which is noisy and as in all cases where I have seen sucharrangements, left some odour. There was only liquid soap in asqueezy bottle.The hotel bed, small room, dull appearance and everything needs painting! Shower room very small.
