Very polite, friendly and helpful family run guest house. Free wifi and availability to pay for off road parking very helpful. It was quiet. Excellent location for anybody needing Twickenham Stadium. Easy to get to Richmond and to Waterloo. Location is brilliant for the stadium! Would definitely stay again for events there. The room was very comfortable and pretty clean. Liked that breakfast was included and food was very good. Staff were very friendly.
all reviews » I have asked Hotel Management to reserve 2 Twin Rooms for me for England v Ireland Game Feb/Mar.2014 ; when we know the date, provided room rate is reasonable , Thank You , Edmond j.Stack. Staff were lovely, they went out of their way to help and make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, overall great value for money, would definitely recommend. The Staff were very friendly and everyone made us feel very welcome. the room was clean and the accommodation was very appropriate for are needs for the weekend. very quiet during the night, so a good nights sleep before our long journey home. Quality of food for breakfast good with plenty of choice. Amazing! Staff are super friendly and so helpful! Comfy beds, cute rooms! Can not be any happier with our stay!! A+++. Breakfast was superb!. the position of guest house car parking only 100 yards from twickenham rugby and 15 mins walk from town centre. Very good value for money, the room was a lot bigger then what we have experiences in the past (other hotels). It's not a 5 star place. But the staff are great and cheap and very very convenient. The room was for 2 single lads and we had booked a twin room. The room given was a double!. Food. Rooms are tired, a bit basic but fine for one night stay Breakfast was OK but elements of it were cold Not for the discerning travellers - but if you go with eyes open it hits the mark. Don't expect to make a swift exit from here after a match at Twickenham stadium. Delays of at least an hour and a half due to Police traffic restrictions. The traffic noise, the comfort of the beds. Hotel is next to a main road and under a flight path so you need earplugs to sleep. No airconditioning and breakfast was below expectations. The plumbing in the room was awful. Blocked sink and toilet. The breakfast was a joke, we went in at 0830 and we struggled to get a cup of tea and there was very little food to choose from and no cutlery. All in all not very good. The traffic noise. Faulty shower in room. No hot water for shaving on second day. Breakfast production not good. No en-suite. Blocked wash basin in room. The bed was too soft. I slept on the floor. Breakfast service was slow and the choice was very poor. Room to small only 1 chair, too far from shops and tube. Tiny room.sink almost directly over the toilet. Very small room, shower not working properly. Room was very poorly maintained & no where other than the bed to sit & work. the room was I little compaced and the toilet was to small with the sink on top of you when you sit on toilet which is not ideal. My friend and I stayed for a concert at Twickenham Stadium and paid just under £100 each for one night. If we had paid £40 I would have found this a lot more acceptable but the cleanliness was poor, the were two gaping holes in my duvet cover, the tv wiring was held together by an adhesive dressing and the shower could do with a thorough clean. No ham for breakfast? A room directly onto the round-about of a major road? Hotels are selling one thing: Sleep. I didn't get any. This is one of the Top3 worst places I've ever stayed at. staff bit unsure of what they were doing although they were friendly,not hot water in my mum and dads room. Room no. 14 is the size of a large wardrobe - way too small. The breakfast was minimal and with only one person preparing the eggs and coffee/tea and bringing it one by one to the table, it took forever. The whole place had a strange smell, not a clean pleasant smell. Felt the whole place needed to be updated, Breakfast was served on cold plates which meant that the meal got cold very quickly. Bathroom let the guest house down very badly daily ablutions were very uncomfortable sitting on the toilet was like an obstical course, washing at the basin you had to be a contortionist water pressure in shower bad. Advert said there would be off road parking so i asked for secure parking but had to park on the main road, 3 parking spaces do not make secure parking with no need to book.
