Plenty of hot water in the shower.

the quality of the meals was good.
The food was excellent.
Its not my local we live 170 miles away.
The kitchen extractor is right outside the bedroom window but goes off at 9ish so not a major problem.
My room was not en suite, although the separate bathroom was solely for my use.
Having to leave... But will be back.
the shower wasnt very powerful.
previous guest had flooded en-suite bathroom (room 2) so door didn't open or close properly - hope it will be fixed soon.
Furniture a little tired.
Stayed there for one night while visiting the Hay festival. Would have liked to have been a bit closer but everywhere closer was fully booked and a lot more expensive!! Stayed in room 1 and was wakened by early sun...heavier curtains?.
Nothing.
the one eiderdown was soiled badly.
PAT Tested extension lead showing 'fail' was still in use.
10am checkout is a little earlier than normal.
Nothing.
Room not ensuite
Smelly carpet in bathroom.
Nothing.
Couldn't connect to the wifi.
there was nothing to dislike.!.
Obviously it had been done up some years ago but had not been kept up to that standard, just needs a good make over and tidy up inside and out.
A bit scruffy and in need of a refurbishment.
No food available after the dot of 09:00h.
Noisy room, kitchen fan outside window. Room was dusty and bathroom unclean.Bathroom door would not open fully and a health and safety issue. TV was unworkable and very noisy upstairs, could have been staffs' family. Breakfast and food not very good. The management team were not on the premises for a few days which may explain certain things.
Small stuff wasn't done. Not important in isolation but collectively made my stay a disappointing one.
my room was not en-suite, it had a bathroom across the landing. i wasn't told this when I booked.
Place was dates. We didn't have an en suite but a separate private bathroom which was carpeted and smelt of urine (shouldn't be allowed these in the day and age) toilet seat that didn't fit (quite dangerous) and a pathetic shower with no power.
