  The proprietors and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as was the hotel lounge. The dining room was attractively decorated (as were all other rooms that we saw) and both breakfasts and evening meals were delicious, with an excellent choice of menu.   We arrived slightly earlier than check-in time and were given our room immediately. Even though its on a main road and has a railway behind, we weren't disturbed by any noise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The whole place looked like it was very well cared for and had an attractive decor. We hadn't booked breakfast for the following morning but the staff had no problem accommo - Good parking, warm welcome. Nice size room and bathroom, clean and not dated. Good breakfast and evening meal with plenty of room between tables. All on one level so no stairs to climb. Bus and trains into the town just a short walk away. A taxi into town for not much more than two train or bus tickets so the car had a holiday, bonus. A customer orientated, dynamic and focused family run hotel. A gem of a hotel.

  My fiancee and I stayed on 27th April for 1 night and would definitely return and recommend. We were welcomed by Shirley and felt straight at ease. She showed us to our room (room 5) and informed us of the t&c's and left us to it. The room was beautifully decorated with crisp fresh bed linen and fresh towels on a heated towel rail! The en suit... what people say » was well appointed and warm. The shower had a mind of its own with the heating but once sorted, was lovely. The breakfast was cooked on request with - I received a very warm welcome when I arrived to check in. The room was lovely (room 1) and the bed super comfy. What I really liked, too, was the hot drink choice in the room and a decent amount of teabags & milk! There's a great breakfast selection and the food was delicious. The B&B is just round the corner from Tenby train station which was perfect for me! I would recommend this B&B to everyone!

  The staff were very friendly and professional, and we were welcomed warmly. The room (China) was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom with both bath and shower. Home made biscuits added a nice touch. The rooms were wonderful. We were so taken with the hotel, we extended our stay - which the staff managed for us perfectly. The restaurant was excellent, and a nice place for an evening. The bar likewise, good ales and wine, and the atmosphere of a good pub (with a great terrace too, if the sun's shining) - perfect. The breakfasts were great too.

  The Penally Abbey has a distinct charm and ellegance that is not always to translate into words. However from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated to very personal hospitality, which you don;t find in budget hotels. This is what you pay for and it is the reason for the difference. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Would stay again. Wonderful! Thank you, just wished we had stayed longer.

  Loved absolutely everything about the Guesthouse. Debbie the owner was so kind and helpful, a genuine host who knew how to go the extra mile to make her guests experience unique, as only the Welsh could. Loved the homemade stonecakes look out for them at breakfast. Will definitely be back. - Fantastic value for money. Classical decor all looks newly decorated. Very clean and the bed was super comfy.A panoramic view of tenby's south beach.   Pippa and Philip were the loveliest hosts. They couldn't do enough to make us feel very well looked after.
