The hotel was very comfortable and the staff service was great, i have absolutely no complaints. Friendly staff and the food was particularly good. old fashioned surroundings suitable to country. excellent staff, very kind/price very correct and food too. There are no dislikes, but, the ensuite facilities did not match the standard of the room, and the carpark does not look like anyone has attended to it in 5 years. The entrance to the shower was very cramped for space and the toilet was in need of replacement.We were charged too much for booking on the internet.rooms wereavailable much cheaper. Needing to spend money on the hotel. The stairs move and the room floorsloped could do with a little sound proofing. it was a bit rickety with uneven floors, the tv was only small and too far away from the bed(viewing area),there was energy saving bulbs which made the
room very dark, also it's on a main road which can
be very busy with high speed cars and lorries, I appreciate the hotel is old but I don't think people with impaired mobility could negotiate the steep stairs and uneven floors. En-suite facilities were very poor. Breakfast choice was very restricted and the bacon was inedible!!. Noise from the pub and from traffic on the main road.
