  The house is a superb old English country house with great individual style. Rebecca is an excellent and friendly host. Musicians will love the piano and drums. Locally sourced produce just tastes so much better. Sure the shower was a little under powered but you get that in an older property.

  Excellent location for visiting Exeter city centre, with lovely friendly staff. just 5 minutes walk from either Exeter St Davids or Exeter central. We just had an overnight getaway from work and routine - visiting the Quay, which was beautiful for food and long stroll, the underground passages of Exeter city, the RAM Museum, had a lovely walk arou... what people say » nd the castle grounds and sat in the sun eating cream cakes outside the cathedral. - The room was comfortable and clean, and the en suite was very nice, the staff were friendly and the guest house in a good location for the city centre. We enjoyed a choice of breakfasts in the morning, overall a good stay, we would book again.

  The place is conveniently located between the university and the city center, a step away from the main train station, even though I found out that Exeter St.Davis station is the one you'll probably use if you're coming from London.   The room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet enough to sleep well - there was some noise outside quite late from passers-by returning home as it was a Friday night, but nothing too disturbing. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient; parking was secure and close by. And I was particularly grateful for a proper ironing board! - Everthing... what people say » , could not fault the position (only 5 mins walk to main shopping centre, rooms were exactly what you need for a weekend break, shower was poerful and hot. Breakfast was well worth the £8 you can prepay to reception on arrival. One of the best breakfast buffets I have had in a city hotel. Including ready made porridge.

However it was the first b & b that I saw people waiting for tables for breakfast and felt uncomfortable that people were sat by the side of me waiting for a table while we were eating our breakfast. Other than that it was fine perhaps decor was a little tired and not totally in tuning the the building. - The Georgian Lodge is situated in the centre of Exeter with a short walk to the highstreet and shops! The staff were very polite and welcoming and couldnt do enough for you! We were both very pleased with the standard of the breakfast menu and the quality of the food! A good way to start the day with a hot full english! :-) couldnt fault the cleanliness of the b&b!

I was in a tiny but quite nicely furnished single bedroom with shared bathroom and it was all impeccable and comfy, very conveniently near the train station and a 15min walk from Uni or city centre. - Lorraine was very friendly and helpful during our stay.
