This has been our second visit to Coasters Hotel. the wife and me have alway's found the staff very helpfull. I asked for a couple of extra's and they actual sent one of their staff to fetch it from a local shop and provided it me for the length of our stay. Eugene's breakfasts was more than filling and very tasty. It was'nt a case of breakast's served between 8 and 9 like a lot of the places the misses and me have stopped in its a case of anytime between 8 and 12 and for those of us men folk a.
all reviews » First Time at Coasters at Skeggy. Lurvely 3 days. Alas me and misses were taken ill and returned the nite before or stay ended. Breakfast downstairs was also worth while. Eugene coped very well but he need's a little more practice with English Breakfast. Nearly There though. Facilities excellerant was a proper home from home and with self-catering we were'nt stuck to feeding times. I've seen the odd bad comment about Coasters but i assure you they are unfounded. The staff and owners bend over b. staff were very friendly and had a lot of time for us, we got upgraded free of charge when we got there as it was out of season and not very busy. we still found enough things to do though as the hotel was right next to the pubs, cinema and seal sanctuary which are open all year round. the facilities in the apartment were great even though we didn't cook anything there was all the equipment to do so if we had chosen to. all staff were very welcoming & friendly, nothing was to much trouble,liked the fact u could come n go when u pleased & didnt have set meal times with having little ones there was no need to worry if they wouldnt sit still for meals as u was in comfort of ur own room. everything u need and close to all activaties ,sites ,etc.will definately be staying there again thankyou for a wounderfull stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And this hotel is right on the sea front very close to everything. And the food in the bar/restaurant was lovely well worth every penny and very cheap prices and also the drinks at the bar are very cheap and lovely friendly people. we really enjoyed our stay here i would well recommend this hotel. Apartments were very clean and spacious, all amenities were provided including towels and bed sheets. Staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating, all relevant information was provided and clearly set out. Very friendly atmosphere, would definately be going back soon. excellent location,extremely friendly helpful staff.hotel is very clean and being able to cook your own food is a bonus.kitchenette had adequte equipment and bedroom roomy and very comfortable.also had a small balcony.excellent value for money.l. Sorry about the fire alarm will be back though defo. I loved the location however there were a few problems electric cut out in the evening in bedroom near heater was damp on carpet n found a beetle crawlin on headboard but apart frm that excellent stay. We went to attend a funeral with our 2 teenage children and our room was upgraded so that they did not have to share a bed sette. Staff were great and facilities were goo and it was very clean. Staff are really friendly and upgraded my room for free. They remembered me from a previous visit and are so welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are clean too. i found the room to be very large, with sea view, more than expected, the staff where friendly an couldnt do enough for you, the stay was very relaxing which is what i went for. the stay was lovely and we got on well with the staff. the staff made us feel welcome and talk to us about anything. the rooms wear nice and clear. we will come back again. The hotel staff was really friendly, as we was there with a disabled person the staff couldn't have been friendlier and was more than happy to help if we needed anything. Very clean, nice bedding, plenty of storage in bedroom and good provision of all the basic equipment you would need. No-one answered the 24 hour buzzer when we were told if we needed anything we could use it (it was 9pm and we only needed the code for the Wi-Fi) luckily it was nothing urgent but if it had been it may have been a problem. Shabby in public areas. maybe needs to just check houseworkers cleaning skills. Very small car park, but free parking opposite the door from 10pm until 10am. Cooker hob, the on idicater not working, also heat level numbers worn away. Difficult to know if hob rings where turned off. Limited parking on site. The available parking was a walk away, bit of a pain when you have to carry luggage. Coming home. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I expected but the bedding and the room/kitchenette was fine. Everything was perfect. Unfortunately too many stairs. Nothing. Three flights of stairs up to our two bedroom apartment. Being aware of the flashing lights on the outside illuminations. Nothing. Not very much parking space. very dated sound-proofing would be nice. Talking/snoring from room below was audible throughout the night. No cover for the bed settee. Bed could've been more comfortable, shower wasn't powerfull enough must be water pressure. Didn't have a sea view. Noisey neighbours at 4 in the morning. room was noisy as was above the bar. The weather!. room was cold heater didnt work its was warmer on the landing.
