The location and the facilities.Also the very friendly staff. Jolly proprietor / staff. Great fun - room was a railway carriage. Friendly Staff. The food was good location is good. We were made very welcome by the manager. Shabby bathroom, toilet seat broken, no hot water, thick dust and cobwebs behind bed. The room (train coach) smelt damp even in August!. The room wasn't visited during our stay, therefore the bin wasn't emptied or toilet roll wasn't replenished.Following Redecotation of room/carriage a strong smell of paint (not good). Rooms need upgrading. The lack of heating in the public areas (staff were wearing woolly hats in the morning), and only continental breakfast was included in the price. On their information it states some rooms have full english breakfast included. The exterior of the carriages need to have more curb appeal. Room very cold damp. No were to hang clothes.
