    Very friendly, comfortable and charming hotel with a great position on the seafront. Would highly recommend it. - It's very close to the sea and the town centre.Room had a view at the sea.

    Welcoming,friendly and accommodating .Stylishly decorated, Centrally positioned hotel with lovely helpful staff.Good breakfast and there is a brilliant Greek restaurant in the basement. Dog friendly was also a bonus.We plan to stay next time we visit Folkestone. - We only stayed for a night, arrived later on in the day and left very early in the ... what people say » morning to catch our crossing to France. It did everything we needed and the owner was very pleasant, friendly and helpful whilst we were there.

    I could enjoy a cigarette in my room. Too many places have banned smoking and it's put me off staying away. So glad to have found somewhere that allows for my personal choice. - The waiters/waitresses are always very pleasant and i look forward to seeing them all again. Also the MAnagers and reception staffare always friendly

    Party of 4 with a young child. Reception staff welcoming and there was a great feel about the place. Hotel and rooms were stylish and clean. Excellent food (lamb was particularly well executed) and exceptional dinner and breakfast service, coping with several changes and the needs of a small child.     They create a wonderful environment at this hotel. Lots of little extras that are wonderful and make you feel at home. We were there in the off season and there were hot water bottles in the bed at night, both practical and cosy. An honor bar, records to play and just a lovely environment. It's not totally quiet, you can hear your neighbors a bit, ... what people say » but it's absolutely lovely and I would not hesitate to stay there again and in fact plan to for a nice quiet couple of days get away. - This is a small, independently owned and run boutique hotel. The owner was always on hand but never intrusive. The whole experience could be decsribed as staying in a private home. We loved the log burning fires, LPs and record player, cheese , biscuits and other treats laid out in the evening for guests consumption. The breakfasts are pretty good too. We plan to return.

    Comfort and service - Family run very friendly and extremely attentive and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble My next Hotel was 5 star and 3 x price, but no better in any way except building; which was 16th Century just modernised.
