  Unobtrusive but helpful and friendly service. The room was small, but entirely adequate and well equipped. Comfortable bed and good shower. Very convenient to Gloucester Road tube station. - I sent two elderly aunts on this trip and they had a wonderful time. Staff were friendly, respectful and courteous. So, thank you.

  The staff made sure we had a nice stay. Rooms were comfortable. It is close to knightsbridge - great if you want to shop from harrods and other shops such as prada and zara - The staff was the kindest I've ever experienced and very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect and the hotel itself was very nice and clean.

Thanks to the weak pound sterling I could stay at this hotel. I have never met such a nice hotel like this in London before.   The entire staff were extremely helpful,pleasant and polite.Rooms are very comfortable.We only had breakfast in the hotel(continental) and this was more than adequate.Will certainly stay there again next time I go to London. - I liked the atmosphere in the hotel, more smartly casual than some of the older hotels

  The attitude of the staff, nothing was to much trouble even giving us a room to change in after we had checked out.   Tremendous value - for £55 a hotel in Kensington with a very nice reception and little bar, great en suite, "continetal breakfast" does it a disservice - help yourself to tea, coffee, fresh orange, croissants, bread, fruit, cereal, cheese, tomato, cucumber...and if you want extra (eg 2 paoched eggs for £2.20) it doesn't cost a fortune. Having stay... what people say » ed in other cheap hotels in London this one scores - It's superb location. Restaurants/ shops/convenience stores/ bank...Just a minute's walk to Earl's Court station. Also, it's about 10 minute's walk (or the next station if you are taking tube/ or take the bus) to High Street Kensington where you can shop around your neighbourhood without having to crowd with other people in Oxford Street. It's small but enough for two!
