    Fantastic view from bedroom . Friendly welcome and service , large comfortable dining room with lovely view . Ate dinner there both nights , very good standard of food and very friendly , but efficient service in the restaurant . Breakfast was very good also .     The hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was good in both Morgans and Zest. Complimentary tea and coffee were both good.     Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. Would heartily recommend.

When my circumstances changed and I had to cancel my second night there, the staff were most considerate and helpful.     The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The room was newly decorated and extremely comfortable - so much so I purchased two duvets from the Head Housekeeper who could not have been more obliging. The pool area was attractive and had all the facilities you could want except something to wring your wet swimming costume out. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to any - The first sight of the hotel was delightful with a vast array of pretty flowers and lavender everywhere . Wonderful pillows comfy bed with quilt , excellent tea/coffee facilities, bathroom lovely with all necessary toiletries provided. The choice of breakfast was excellent. We used the pool and surrounding patio area and found the whole experience very relaxing after a days shopping in Cardiff.

    What a briiliant place! The staff were great, the room was lovely, we stayed in one of the outside rooms - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had arranged to eat at the Hardwick (a birthday treat for me - going to Stephen Terrys restaurant), the hotel arranged a taxi for us, with no fuss.     "Pava" is situated on the outskirts of Tintern and has lovely views and easy walks from the doorstep. Tintern Abbey is a great place to visit, is quiet and peaceful. There are excellent walk in the area that cater for every grade of walker. The tree lined road from Ross on Wye to Tintern and beyond, out of season is a wonderful ride and in autumn... what people say » will look spectacular. Across the road from Parva there is a vineyard. Although a bit pricey the quality is great and a visit is recommended. (Access - Our room (no.2) on the top floor had a lovely river and hillside view. Bed linen, room and en-suite were all spotlessly clean. The room was very well appointed including plenty of wardrobe space. Although we did not use it the honesty bar in the large residents lounge is a nice touch and looked well stocked. A good choice of homemade food for an evening meal was available, but due to a late lunch we did not have the opportunity to indulge. Opposite there is also a nice pub if you fancy a drink

    The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Paul the Bar Supervisor particularly going the extra yard on more than one occasion. The huge beds are also fantastic and hugely comfortable. This was our second stay as my partner's Mother suffered a serious illness recently and we are sure that over the coming weeks, during her (hopeful) full recover... what people say » y, we will look to stay many more times. - rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful.
