    The apartment was spacious, immaculately presented and every detail seemed to have been considered to allow the visitor to simply relax and enjoy. From the flowing lay-out, to the tasteful décor and furnishings and the outside terrace and garden spaces - truly first-rate. - Like a hidden gem - perfect location but not obvious.     The 12 of February we got married in St Andrews. We love this place, which is the reason why we chose it for our wedding ceremony. We wondered where we would like to spend two days after the wedding and after reading the opinion we decided to stay in Ogston hotel...And it was a great choice. We have booked a room with double bed...what we saw when we a - The room was great we had a Deluxe Twin and it was a big room with a large bathroom and a rolled top bath. The location on North street means it's just a short walk to the beach and the Old course and to the town as well. The staff where very helpful and the breakfast was really good. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and not to costly .We will stay again in this hotel the next time we are in St Andrews

    We enjoyed every aspect of the stay. Service was excellent.Room wasexactly as described. Enjoyed the spa facilities.Golf steward helpful inensuring husband was able to go in ballot for old course. - the staff all made sure we were well looked after and looked out for us when returning a little late from golf. They even cleaned our golf shoes ready ... what people say » for next day. Breakfast outstanding.

    We had a 2 night stay at Bunree as my husband had a driving experience at Knockhill on May Day. Hamish & Una were so friendly & welcoming & made our stay very enjoyable. The room & ensuite were spotless & very nicely decorated and, as previous reviews have said,the breakfast was outstanding. We ate at the Carnock Inn both eveni... what people say » ngs. It is under new management & both the food & staff were excellent. We would highly recommend both Bunree & the Carnock Inn & hope - It was a very nice stay, beautiful house, very nice room, quiet suroundings. Lovely hosts, Una and Hamish were very helpful and extremly pleasant (I know, lots of adjectives here, but this is how we felt), we've got a lot of useful information about the places we went to visit. Excellent breakfast (I particularly loved the scrambled eggs with salmon). We would definetly like to come back.

    Location. Beautiful house. Quality accommodation - wonderful bathroom ! Home produced breakfast. Nice touch to provide us with a 'packed' breakfast to take to the golf course. - Beautiful house, well cared for with excellent and very friendly service. Great food and conversation.

    Our friendly Hostess Evelyn warmly welcomed us. She was informative of the facilities available in and around Hampton House. Our tastfully decorated room was well appointed, clean, comfortable and with good room space. The continental breakfast was lovely and very filling. The guest lounge and dining are also comfortable and quiet. This area a... what people say » nd the foyer looked pretty at night with the fairy lights on and tea candles burning. Great WIFI reception through out the House. I am pleased we ch - Evelyn the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, it was clean and comfortable, somewhere you could relax after a long day sightseeing. The garden was furnished with seats for the guests and there was also a guest lounge. The continental breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and Evelyn was happy to provide more should you require it. I would certainly visit again and recommend this hotel to friends.

    very friendly staff ,made us very welcome ,the projects and gardens brillant ,was lovley to meet and to chat to sir peter erskine and lady erskine .,we loved the big four poster bed ,as was our honeymoon choice ,very quite and peaceful, we actually were sleeping in a part of the lovley big house . iwould recomend it to any one with a family or rom... what people say » antic couple .and who loves the countryside ,breakfast was lovlely plenty to eat ,and you sit at the grand big table that seats up to 30 round , with - This is a unique place. Crawling with history. The ambience is laid back the furnishings are amazing. Lord and Lady Erskine and their staff were wonderful hosts and eager to please and ensure your needs were met. We were golfing in Crail and St. Andrews and this was central to both and Kingsbarns is a 2 minute drive away. We took time to explore the Walled Garden and the walk to the sea as well as explore the grounds. Wonderful place.

    We were made to feel very welcome. It was all so genuine, there wasnever any feeling of the owners faking their smiles etc. - rooms where great, We loved the place, they could not do enough for us....we will be back .

    The room had a perfect view overlooking the golf course, water and town in the distance - the bed was a delight! It was also extremely clean. The staff on reception and around the bars/dining area were lovely, very polite and happy to help. The same could not be said for the torn face girl serving in the spa. Club house is certainly worth - I found this hotel to be set in a lovely location about a 5 minute drive outside of St Andrews,the two golf courses are immaculate, the facilities are excellent,the room was comfortable and nicely designed but the biggest compliment I can pay to the hotel, are there staff, who make you feel welcome and relaxed from the moment you walk through the door, nothing appeared an issue for them to deal with, this was our first time staying here but after our experience we will definitely be coming back

    We very much appreciated the warm, accommodating, staff! we also enjoyed the excellent Pub next door! While it was busy, there was no noise or discomfort because of other people or staff. - Found the hotel clean,friendly receptionist,room comfortable and breakfast better than i expected.A very enjoyable stay in the opinion of my whole group.

    Ideal location - just 20 mins drive from Edinburgh Centre. Rooms very clean, bright and comfy!! Great Pub next door for breakfast and meals - You know what you are getting with premier, just wish I could find some cheaper deals sometimes?? Food was good in adjoining hostelry.
