We liked the friendliness of the owners of the Crofton Guest House. Nothing was too much trouble for Duncan and Diane and they created a very welcoming atmosphere. Staff exceptionally friendly, called ahead before we arrived and we were allowed to check in early, which was a welcome relief. Rooms were exceptionally clean, airy and modern. Well designed and functional. Bathrooms were very clean. Hospitality tray was very well stocked. Breakfast was excellent and catered very well for all tastes and a two year old. The owners Leslie & Clive made us feel very welcome straight away, our room was lovely and great little touches , was extremely clean, the décor was lovely also. The breakfast was first class, did not need to eat anything until the evening as was too full, the quality of the breakfast was second to none. The hard work that the owners put in was certainly noticeable throughout our stay we will definatly be staying here again and was well worth the long journey from Essex.

What did we like - Everything!
Warm and friendly welcome just like welcome visitors. We had a beautiful room in a wonderful thatched roofed home which also had really nice outdoor seating areas. The town and surrounds were wonderful with beautiful walk

Very pleasant stay here, the food is excellent, although the menu was set you could have it anyway you wanted so very helpful and the staff are all very friendly.
