  The hotel is beautifully decorated, with excellent facilities. Our room was very comfortable, looked lovely and had doors opening onto a decking/garden area (just a shame it was raining the whole time!) The food and service in the restaurant is exceptional, as is the bar. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Can't... what people say » recommend it highly enough! - As they were in the process of changing the room service menu we were allowed the al la carte menu in the bedroom. the food was amazing why did we not eat in the restaurant you may ask well the stay was a gift to my husband as my father died recently and we just wanted a romantic night together. The Spa was wonderful everything was magic

  We stayed at lazy waves for a couple of night, The owners was great supplied information where to eat and where to visit. Breakfast was excellent and nice and fresh dining area is very cosy. Our room was fantastic looking straight over at the sea they even supplied binoculars in the room nice quite road and there is benches just across the road an... what people say » d you can sit there and take all the beautiful views in. If we come back to visit Newquay we would stay here. Thanks for making our stay comfortable. - the peace and quiet and fantastic view from the room, the delicious home-made granola and door-step granary toast for breakfast, nice little touches like current magazines, binoculars and beach games to borrow, the local knowledge, freshly baked cakes and friendly service provided by the proprietors

  We stayed for a two nights, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff we very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and a good size, the same applies to the bathroom. the facilities were excellent and a very good beakfast that set us up for the day. The hotel is situated within a short walk to both the town centre and beaches.. Lov... what people say » ed our stay and would definately go back. - having travelled a lot worldwide this hotel is very a little jem!, lovely pool, fab food 10 points for the chef lobster was very good and the steak was cooked to perfection,friendly and helpfull staff,its not often that you can find a hotel offering such a high standard of service for a reasonable price,it puts shame on more expensive hotels.

  I was with my daughter and granddaughter who is 17months old. Our room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included in the price. If you are looking for a boutique type hotel this is not for you, but I would stay here over any boutique hotel. The setting was magnificent. Beautiful grounds and woodland... what people say » s. Even the walk back to the hotel from St Ives up the big hill was not enough to put me off going again. - The hotel was absolutely amazing! So friendly and had a lovely warm welcome and ports of smiles and politeness from all staff. Food was delicious and well presented. Our room was AMAZING, we had a beautiful view of the sea and the room was kept nice and clean everyday by the wonderful cleaning staff. We will be staying again with you in the future!   The staff were second to none, easy to converse with and always taking the time to stop and chat if you wished. The 7am - 9pm use of the pool was an attraction however the added bonus of inclusive yoga and cross fit training were an unexpected positive! The complex is clearly still developing and promises to be a truly beautiful - The hotel is set a long way off the road with lovely grounds. The rooms look as if they are chalet style, each with a balcony, and inside the open plan bathroom/shower is a nice touch and makes the room even more spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Room exceptionally clean and well presented. The food in the restaurant was superb and the waiting staff professional and friendly. The pool, steam room and sauna all very well done in the spa - great for a relaxing couple of days.

  St Mellion is a superb place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with in-room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The health facilities and the golf course looked great too, albeit our stay was primarily to visit friends in the area and so we were not in the resort long enough during any day to take full advantage of even the swimmi... what people say » ng pools or the restaurant. Hopefully, we will be able to return in the future and will then plan to spend more time indoors and enjoy the pool etc. - Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good. Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good. Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there. The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.
