Have stayed here before so knew that the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful We arrived very early but were allowed straight into our room so we could freshen up before going to a funeral. Beds very comfortable, and can adjust heating in room to suit yourself. Found this hotel as a last minute booking, and so glad I did. Everything about it was excellent. There was nothing that my partner or I could fault. In fact I looked to book again in july but they were fully booked, which is no surprise really. Would highly recommend the manor to anyone.

The room was very clean. The carpet plush. The bed was sturdy and comfortable. The bathroom was simple and clean. The location was quiet even though there may have been an event on the evening we stayed. Breakfast was filling and plentiful. Staff were very accommodating. This was our 4th visit to the Manor Hotel and as usual the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was very clean and bright and the outlook from our room was very relaxing, the bed was, as most Hotel bed's a bit on the hard side. We have stayed at the Manor Many times and as before we had a very pleasant time, the staff have always been very friendly and helpful and we would always stay at the Manor when we are in that part of the Country. We stayed overnight as at a celebration dinner. The food was very good, all meals served at the same time and for a party of 18 not an easy task. Staff very friendly and helpful. The customer service was second to none, the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. The door wouldn't open on our allocated room so we were immediately offered an upgrade. Room was comfortable and clean. Gardens surrounding hotel were pleasant. Evening meal was very nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Good free Wi-Fi connection. The food in the restaurant was excellent on the evening. The reception staff were most helpful as we had never visited that part of the country before. It was quiet - not on a busy road. We loved the room. It was perfect for us - comfortable bed, good shower room. Everything we needed. Great value for money, very comfortable hotel, sadly the Resturant was closed on our visit but that wouldn't deter from staying again. An excellent hotel in every way. Efficient professional staff. It was fine for just one night but would not recommend this room for a longer stay as it is small and the view out to the garden is over a flat roof with the aircon units. Found a hair in the shower. this visit had one big let down, the food was not up to it's usual standard, Ordered 2 home cured ham sandwiches at the bar only to get what looked like processed ham, The breakfast was over cooked and cold This Hotel has always served us well in the past and only hope this was just a one off, we will visit again. As with previous times at the Manor, No Complaints. The housekeeping staff should perhaps be given more time to clean the rooms more thoroughly. Food on pricey side, potato's with main meal were an extra side dish. At breakfast, tea and coffee served from a flask, no pot on the table and only one single butter pat with toast. Nothing - only a one night stay. Nothing!. no tomatoes for my full English. the noisey people who were leaving after the function they had attented in the hotel.Not very thoughtful to other guests. leaving to come home. I was only able to stay one night. Very small rooms but did the job for one person. Nothing. Nothing. Bathroom a wee bit dark. Nothing. room could be updated it was a bit shabby but bed comfy. Got put in a room with a view of the air conditioning units and the arc lights of the rear car park. A shame as the hotel was clearly not full (only a few at breakfast) and the views from other rooms were over countryside. Room was dirty with stained carpet. Seems to be run on a cheap budget, instant coffee for breakfast. Staff quarters above room, not quiet. Doesn't have the edge of a quality hotel except the excellent food. The rooms are small and cold. They are very with a very small TV screen. It is more of a B and B than hotel. Penthouse suite was BUDGET no luxury. Tiny TV's with freeview. Uncomfortable hard sofa. Dirty tiny bathroom with no bath. Bed was two singles pushed together so just moved apart everytime you moved in the night. One lamp was broken. Both lamps had holes in the shades. Generally stained and dirty. Food was mediocre for the price!! Wasn't offered the "free" full English breakfast. All in all very poor!.
