Nice friendly atmosphere from everyone. Attended to needs promptly as necessary I traveled with my husband in a wheelchair so appreciated the extra effort they staff members put in to help us. Meals very satisfactory and nicely served. thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay and return for three days before leaving for flight back to Australia. Staff were friendly and helpful, checking in was easy. Room was quiet, a decent size, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good. Location is great if you want a city break. It's only a couple of minutes away from the station, shops, bars and eating places. Traffic noise was minimal and the air-con quiet and efficient.

The rooms are clean shower is fantastic and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I am looking to book the preston central again in October for a trip. Everything. Great staff (all of them), food and I got a great nights sleep. Well done. 5-min walk to Preston Central train station, spacious room, comfortable beds & pillows (with even a choice of firmness of pillows which was a nice touch!), spacious & clean shower, room feels very new & clean. Being only 3 years old the room was splendid with an excellent bathroom, good shower curtail and plumbing. Quiet air-cinditioning. A first class dining room with good menu choice, good service and within the building. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff made us feel very welcome. It was in a perfect location to shops,bars and restaurants. We are already planning are next visit. Would recommend to family and friends. The location is ideal as close to train station and University to visit our son.The meal deal is excellent and the Chef went out of his way to accomodate us.The room was very comfortable with pleasing decor. Don't expect to find room prices at less than £50, in spite of adverts etc. but it's still good value for what you get. That you dont have a premier inn everywhere I need to go. Free wifi only for 30 min - this should be free for 24 hrs a day. The arrival is difficult as there is no space without double yellow lines. It was necessary to leave the car to report to reception and find out about parking. The parking lot was adjacent but some 300 yards to reach. The ticket machine would only accept coins or a smartphone payment. Surely it should be possible to purchase a ticket at the reception - not everyone has ten £1 coins to hand. Customers who have booked in advance should be warned about the parking arrangements. Reception on first floor via lift or stairs. It's not natural!. Menu selection a bit limited. No sky - unable to watch sports whilst relaxing with a cider after a busy business meeting!. The view of a car-park.... but I can't expect sea-views in Preston?. The late readness of the room as it clearly said any time from 2pm. One was ready for time we arrived but the other was ready much later. There was nothing I didn't like. Nothing. Paying for wifi !. Sometimes there was not enough staff, so the few that were around were working really hard to provide an excellent service. You are not supposed to flog good staff, Premier Inn! (hire a couple more). No dislikes all was fine. It was not a restful night, due to noise from drunk guests, not because of the quality of the room which was very comfortable. However, as soon as we mentioned this in the morning the staff were aware and guaranteed us a refund. I asked them to contact me and register as a business customer but I haven't heard from them. The air con in the room didn't work and although it is November my room was very warm. Luckily the window opened!. had to come home and back to work!!. Bed was a bit too hard. Bar service was slow we had to go and find someone so we could get a drink and then wait again while they got some change, Although breakfast was good selection the hot meals were not very hot my partner said was cold. Had to open the window in the room. It was Saturday night and the noise was awful - traffic and shouting and swearing from yobs in the street below. Need to get lift to reception from Main Street. Difficult to carry luggage especially when you have kids. Bar not always open. Nearby car parks are expensive. It's a Premier Inn, so obviously it has limitations. But it does just fine for a quick stay for business. Sometimes there was not enough staff, so the few that were around were working really hard to provide an excellent service. You are not supposed to flog good staff, Premier Inn! (hire a couple more). The shower needs a grab-handle on the wall. The only thing you can steady yourself with is the water pipe ... which is not a good idea as it is hot, not especially robust, and not designed to be handled. Sound-proofing from room above and from roof generators (if on the 5th) is not great. Had to move rooms both times I've stayed there so far, but staff were great about it. There was nothing to dislike, only the price of the Bombay Sapphire !!!. very poor on quantity of tea and coffee in the room only two of each if we both wanted coffee we had to have tea later and little milk. nothing i dislike. Nothing really. Looked on internet, looked as though there was Hotel parking (the big empty parking place you can see from the bar windows) Had to pay £12.00 in parking fees. n/a.
