excellent guest house owners were very friendly an welcoming lovely comfy beds superb breakfast would recommend the retreat as a great place to stay. Very good facilities, and was made to feel very welcome by Mark and Sian. Breakfast was lovely, and felt that it was good value for money.Excellent hosts, good position, very clean and comfortable. Very willing and helpful. The bathroom, the space, the warm welcome and hospitality.People were very nice and the house was wonderful. Such a warm welcome. Excellent value for money. An excellent, very large, room and good breakfast with friendly and efficient service. The location is also convenient for shops and other facilities. The owners were very welcoming and looked after our needs extremely well. The house was a listed building and was very clean and well appointed.Nicely sized room, jacuzzi bathroom. Nice breakfast. The size and layout of the house. Lack of car parking facilities. It was only at the confirmation stage, that notification of the fact that there was no hotel parking available, in fact a guest street parking permit was issued on arrival, although an available space was some distance from the hotel. At night the water heater was turned off, and the second guest had no hot water for shower and had to wait. (However, the hotel staff was very nice when you called her up in the middle of night to turn the heater on.) On that note, it would be necessary to have an internal phone to call for help - we didn't know how to reach hotel staff, and had to call from our cell phone to the main line there.
