Flexibility and helpfulness of desk staff eg brief allocation of a guestroom to facilitate my wife's changing of dress after a social event atthe university and after our formal booking-out. The food was good both for the breakfast and the evening meal and the prices were quite reasonable.

Very helpfull staff. Especially Riddhima:) I preferred to stay in this hotel because of it's location. The purpose of my visit was Formula 1 GP in silverstone and Northampton is one of the best places to stay close. And Holiday Inn Northampton was comfortable in all ways.only stayed one night so only met staff at reception ; they were very pleasent and happy to help ordered drinks from room and a taxi both turned when they said they would . would use this hotel again. general atmosphere. hoel is clean, very nice staff!. size and confort of room. Friendly staff. Friendlystaff. Although they did not have your booking for breakfast the staff were helpful and sorted it out.The room had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy.Spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice bar and restaurant area.Reception staff were pleasent and helpful. Value for money.Ease of booking in and out, friendlyness of staff.Al fine apart from being cold and other guests felt it was cold but the manager helped by putting 2 heaters near us.Easy to find, good parking and staff were friendly. It feels cheap to charge this amount when you are sort of pushed to buy it from them anyway.The elevator was broken, Internet at the lobby was not working. The room was cold when we first arrived, but soon warmed up after putting the heater on. There was only three pillows, instead of four.Told on arrival of wedding on second night, so restuarant closed. Wedding guests disturbed our sleep from 3am onwards.Water use in bathroom very noisy, bath plug broken, no shower cap.I did not like being cold in the bar and restaurant. I was woken several times during the night by slamming doors andnoisy guests. Expensive food. Bathroom was dated and dirty with mould. Shower curtain smelt badly.We could not use the restaurant for our evening meal as there was awedding function and no alternative was offered not enough tablesavailable for breakfast either. There was no information in the room and very few facilities such as a fridge.The hotels description of the executive suite is misleading i.e queen size bed which infact is a double! Also bathroom not in good state of repair for a hotel like this. Fruit at brekfast was still frozen!I arrived at about 4p.m. and what looked like breakfast trays were still outside somerooms. On arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to a function but we could eat in the bar as bar food was available, or we could have room service. The bar was full as a result of the function, which meant we had to eat in our room. Menu selection was limited - had we known we would not have selected this hotel. Rooms were not the best - the bathroom left a lot to be desired.Staff were awful, unfriendly and not helpful the manager on duty just fobbed us off because we booked through a "third Party" website and not direct.
