What people say
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower room clean. The
breakfast was good and I just want to say a big thank-you to Cathy in
the kitchen who made me a sausage sandwich, as I only had time for
cereal and toast the second day and was in a rush, so didn't have
time to stay for full English breakfast. So I took my sandwich with me
:-) When I was leaving the manager also stored my luggage securely so I
didn't have to drag it around with me for the day, as I wasn't
leaving Newcastle till. all reviews »
located in a rundown area of the city but quite. save as we stayed. a little far from city centre but since we were revisiting a church nearby, it's not a deal. nice sitting room on ground floor with a bay window and sunshine which made us home. nice breakfast. we were allowed to use microwave in kitchen.
The friendliness of the member of staff upon arrival. Extremely helpful
and even got me a phone charger as I had forgotton mine,However I slept
that well I didnt hear my alarm and managed to miss breakfast.
We thought the location was good very quiet. The room was lovely, the breakfast was really good and the staff very obliging. We would definitely stay there again.
Friendly welcome from Michael on reception. Great breakfast for the price. Location meant that it was a pleasant walk into the heart of the city. I'll be back.

Friendly chatty staff and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Having the freedom to come and go as we pleased.
Comfortable beds, decent breakfast, pleasant staff, reasonably quiet location, very economical.
Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Would stay here again.
The beds were extremely comfy and we had an ensuite room.
Friendliness & breakfast was 1st. class.
Clean place, quiet and good customer service.
Nice stuff, good breakfast.

Breakfast
Friendly staff.
close to city.
There was a boiler in my toilet which kept going on and off and
sometimes woke me up during the night. The lock on the door looks like
it needs refitting as loose at the frame. But overall it did feel like a
safe place to stay.
room is tiny without space for luggage. shower-room is also tiny.
I would have liked a kettle in the room instead of going downstairs .
Drainage is on a saniflo system which is quite annoying and shower took a while to drain
away.
Parking- you have to go back around the one system to reach the rear of the property and it was a little tight on space for my van but got parked so just being honest...
Bathrooms were a little small in en suite but there were good sized shared bathrooms right outside our rooms.
The shower on our landing wasn't very good.
Slightly dog-eared appearance to decor, which in need of a makeover.
The rooms were a little small, however they were still nice to stay in so not a major problem.
Lack of private parking.
Far from the city centre, approx 20 min. Walk.
veiw.
Nothing at all.
Cleanliness.
rooms looked dull, some brighter quilts and curtains would make a huge difference.
