Built in 1816, Rookery Hall Hotel is set in 38 acres of scenic wooded parkland. It offers an award-winning restaurant, a luxurious spa and fitness centre, and free designer toiletries. Bordered by the River Weaver, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is 15 minutes' drive from the M6, and within easy reach of Chester, Manchester and the medieval town of Nantwich. Amazing facilities and the restaurant food is fantastic, the best Yorkshire steak i had in my life so far! The rooms are really nice. It has gone through an recent uplift and you can see it was a quick job in the finishing but you get over it as at the end of the day, it light years from any bandb. Go for it, good room with wine bottle, awesome food, spa and nice breafast! Bargain.. Spacious room, personally being shown to room, ambience of the hotel, quality of the breakfast (included in room rate), room facilities, value for money.

It felt quite dangerous when pulling out of the gates as difficult to see traffic coming from the right.food menu limited. checking out slow,too soft mattress. The brasserie restaurant is very small and feels too much part of the spa/pool area making eating options very limited for those not wishing to eat at the more expensive restaurant. We felt a cafe/bar within the spa are would be sufficient for refreshment in whilst using the facilities and a separate bar/brasserie within the hotel would have been more comfortable. Price of everything, service was rather slow, things were added onto our bill at the end of dinner which we did not have e.g a bottle of wine and 2 extra pints.The restaurant cuisine was at a standard below expecations. Also, for single occupancy, there are no half-bottle wines!. Our third guest was told his room had been overbooked and. although arrangements had been made at another Hotel the point of this stay was for a business meeting and dinner. The Hotel knew the rest of the party had arrived and even when they told them our third person was on their way they said nothing.

Just 30 miles from both Manchester and Liverpool, it is only 25 miles from Manchester Airport and just a 10 minute drive from Crewe station (6 miles).

From the North:
- Exit the M6 at junction 18 and follow signs for Middlewich on the A54.
- Continue onto the A530 for Nantwich and follow this road for 3 miles, passing the Verdin Arms pub.
- Some 400 yards later, turn right, signposted Church Minshull.
- In the village, turn left for Nantwich on the B5074, passing the Badger Public House. Rookery Hall is located 3.5 miles on the left.

From the South:
- Leave the M6 at junction 16 and take the A500 for Nantwich.
- Continue straight over the next 3 roundabouts, signposted A500/A51 Chester.
- At the 4th roundabout turn right, taking the 3rd exit, still signposted A500/A51 Chester.
- Continue straight over the next 2 roundabouts (at the 2nd roundabout, you should spot Sainsbury's superstore on your left).
- At the final roundabout take the 3rd exit, signposted the B5074, for Worleston and Winsford.
- Rookery Hall is one mile along this road (B5074) on the right-hand side.
