close to MEN arena and city centre. Good location, friendly staff. Large, quiet very clean rooms....handy to city centre. Very helpful staff and management. it was very relaxing almost felt like home!. The free car park, and very friendly staff. Everyone we spoke to was very helpfull. Close proximity to shops and the MEN arena. Staff very pleasant and helpful and always available. easy access to city ,friendly staff ,clean. Accessibility to the MEN. it was very close to town, we could walk there in minutes, it was also a nice building on a main road rather than down a dark street. convenient and value for money!. Even with the extra heater on it was still toocold - the windows were rubbish!. Size of the bathroom. no, it was basic but comfortable. The full English breakfast appeared to have been kept hot or reheated. The mushrooms were incinerated and the sausages very poor quality. Needs to be smartened up .light shade broken sink marked.... Televisionreception not good.all minor points but gave a feeling of getting old .the inconsideration of other hotel guest making a racket in the early hours. double bed seemed a bit small. no phone in the room. Bathroom too small. The service in the bar was bad. We used the hotel for dinner - the staff got it all wrong, took too long to come. The pillows - I had 2 of them and could have done with 2 more. They are wafer thin and useless. Nice big fluffy ones would have been lovely!. Our triple room was pretty small. no telphone in the room.No security check when asking for the key, mattress past it's best sonot very comfortable. road noise. size and decor of room. Found pornographic items in room, was not impressed but it did not ruin our stay. Just thankful it wasnt a child who found it!. Breakfast is a bit of a rip off. Rooms were very small for 3 people and I had specifically asked whenI made the reservation not to have a bunk bed in the room for thethird person. The hotel was every noisy, the corridoors and the room doors were noisylate into the night, The corridoors echoed with the sound of peopletalking late at night and very early the next morning. The hotel could do with a little tlc. It looks like it hadn't been decorated for a while and still had a smell of stale smoke, despite the smoking ban and air freshners in the corridors.
The cooked breakfast could be a little healthier by grilling rather than deep frying everything (including the mushrooms!). Bedroom was very cold. The bar was a dining area, not a comfortable lounge. W stayed for 2 nights Friday and Saturday when we arrived back on Saturday afternoon our room had not been cleaned. Not really. Could do with new pillows. But in general value for money.

Follow the signs for M602 and join Motorway. Go to the end of the Motorway where there is a roundabout. Turn left into Albion Way (past a Toyota Garage). Go to the end of the road and at the T-junction turn right (This is the A6). Continue down this road for about 1 mile. On the left you will see a pub called 'The Old Pint Pot'. Turn left into this road and continue to the end. At the T-junction turn right into Blackfriars Road. The Hotel is situated on the right-hand side, about 400m further along the road. Turn right into the Hotel car park, just before the traffic lights.
