The fact that the reception staff are extremely welcoming, the food from the table table restaurant next door is good, it's quiet - so a good nights sleep is easy to come by and it's very close to the office that I am visiting. Very helpful and well informed staff. Easy check in. Our request for a room on the parking side had been taken into consideration. Breakfast. we were in manchester for eye surgery at bridgewater hospital and premier inn was an ideal hotel to stay at. (area not too busy).

Restaurant/bar was used by non-residents which resulted in slamming doors of taxis late at night. (only on one of the 2 nights we stayed). Nothing at all to complain about. Noise from cleaners at around 8am when we did not get to bed until gone 1am. Not ideal!!!. There was nothing untoward. Nothing. WiFi did not function as advertised. No phone in room. had to wait nearly 20 minutes to check in due to demanding family ahead. Nothing was offered for my comfort while I stood there sirens blaring all night from police/ambulances extremely hot room over worked staff at restaurant next door and boy did it show.. The room bed covers were dirty and were not changed which made the room very dirty. Staff in bar next door are rude. No telephone in the room. No restaurant in the hotel and the designated 'eatery' next door is a pub, we do not like to take our very young toddlers into pubs. Crosssing the busy road and the distace from the City Centre. Although I was aware it was out of the City Centre I miss judged the distance. Some of our group missed breakfast because service closed early!. noise from main road. There should be two chairs in the room. There were two of us wanting to sit and watch TV. Armchairs preferably not a desk chair. Heater was inadequate for size of room. Night light for middle of the night trips to the loo would be welcome. Put in the room at the end of the corridor on the top floor! Not convenient with a baby in a buggy, especially with the lift out of order!! The shower was no more than a dribble and very noisy. Heating had a mind of its own. 18 degrees at bedtime: 23 degrees in the morning. Woke in a pool of sweat. Cheap feel. A dormitory for business people. Wouldn't recommend for families. No limitless free wi-fi. Not enough tea bags, sugar or milk, didnt sleep a wink as the walls were so thin so kept hearing banging all night. Going out for breakfast...A bit cold in the room. only 1 towel each and limited tea and coffee supplies. staff were not very understanding on departure and would not hold our bags until later that afternoon. there was no television remote control in the room and non available from reception. there was no telephone in the room. room servicing was done way too early at 10am!. Fixed shower head. Soaps in dispensers. No room phone. No towels for two without asking. Generally faded and in need of modernisation. Exterior and reception not welcoming. ...But to convenient for a very busy road, given the room was baking hot all night so the window had to be kept open!. no air conditioning. fan produced as much heat from motor as cool air. unbearable hot. had to open window because of the heat and the noise from the road made sleep impossible. this is by far the worse premier Inn I have ever stayed at.
