Easy check in, very friendly and helpful receptionist. only stayed one night and arrived a little late due to getting lost in Bristol city centre. Receptionist arranged for the hotel bus to pick us up from hotel and take us to, bungalow restaurant, who she rang to say we were on our way to eat. Although the restaurant is a little way from the hotel, the hotel bus takes you there and also brings you back. I believe this service will also take you to the airport. The room was clean and comfortabl.
all reviews » Decided at the last minute to stay at the Forge before early morning flight. Staff very friendly and efficient, accommodation small but very comfortable, as well as tea and coffee also included cereals in room for breakfast and mini fridge with milk! Taken by mini bus to their own pub free of charge and collected, all staff extremely cheerful and helpful. Would definitely recommend it. Could not be nearer to Bristol airport. They went out of their way to be helpful. We just had one night there before flying back to Dublin after Glastonbury. We were picked up and dropped back to the airport at no extra cost. Also at no extra cost there was a selection of cereals, hot drinks and a minifridge with milk for the morning. This was perfect as we were up at 6am. Those little extra's dont event happen much in large hotels. It was surprising. All we needed for an overnight stay before an early flight. Loved the dinky little fridge. Good selection of breakfast cereals. Liked having the fresh milk. Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Never gone for an early flight before but will do so in future as we will use the cabins for an overnight stay again. Bedding & towels clean & fresh. Staff was friendly and gave us recommendations and directions to the town and food options. Room was neat and although breakfast choice was limited to milk and cereal, there was plenty for a filling breakfast. We got a late booking at the forge as our other accommodation was double booked the place we stayed was hill crest farm was so luxurious and had everything we needed the staff we met were fantastic ever in Bristol stay there you won't be disappointed :). We arrived to England by plane in the late evening by plane. We spend one night here. They pickuped us at the airport immediatelly after our call. Next day its 10 mins wlk nack to airport to car rent house. Perfect. Vicinity to the airport, ability to leave car in a safe place, ease of use. Prompt delivery and collection to airport at required times. On the whole a very good service and would recommend and use again. Everything was neat and tidy. Having the end room closest to a busy main road. The shower cubicle wasn't clean. Nothing, really, it was reasonable budget accommodation. The power to the shower was not working which meant going outside to access another shower. Some steep steps to get to and from my room were tricky with bags. My room was very small and cramped, other guests in nearby rooms very noisy and lots of doors banging in the early hours. N/A. Thin walls - I could hear the guy next door snoring No hooks for towels in bathroom or anywhere to put a wash bag No bedside light. no real breakfast just some cereal and milk [ in a pod fridge]in the room.[had breakfast at the airport so not really b and b free transport made up for it ]. nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. would only stay one night for use of airport, or overnight stop on the way to somewhere. Nowhere to hang damp towels. bit tricky to find. Was surprised when I arrived as I was expecting a hotel but the facilities are more like a motel. DIY breakfast was acceptable, but others may find cereal not to their taste. Having said that I would definitely stay there again if flying out from Bristol. Very fast dangerous road. No bedside lamp. no problems. Smallish room for family. minor plumbing irritation. we were there when temperatures were 30. the heat in the room was really uncomfortable even in the late evening it was cooler outside. Needs a facelift.
