What people say
Stayed here for 1 night with my partner, we were attending a function close by so location was excellent. we arrived half a hour early but the gentleman on reception was very helpful and rather than make us wait while our room was been cleaned, he changed our room so we could check in early. although the room wasn't huge, there was plenty of room for 2 people and as the hotel was fairly new all the facilities were up to an excellent standard. I would definitely use this hotel again, it was even. all reviews »
Great position, Shoreditch is full of pubs, clubs and restaurants and very close to the City! Old street underground station is 5-10 minutes on foot; next to the hotel there is the bus stop (buses to the Tower of London, Oxford Circus and Waterloo).
Hotel clean and new.
"Mediterranean" breakfast.
Staff very gently.
brand new so super clean. really helpful and friendly staff. above average for a budget hotel. I managed to get a double room for £79 a night including breakfast, what a bargain for Shoreditch. right next to bus route which takes you to central London.
The hotel is brand new. Room and bathroom were very spacious and bright.
Nice location: Shoreditch is full of nice pubs, cafés, shops. Good
connections: Shoreditch Highstreet overgroung station is quite close to
the hotel.
The hotel was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast, although only continental, was very good.We stayed in the family room on the second floor and this was a very nice room with a large bathroom.
Nice decor - very new. Had everything I needed in the room (TV, tea/coffee making, free safe, free wifi). Helpful staff. Restaurants and pubs nearby. Tube only a short walk away.
Lovely spacious room. Great location. All new and shiny. Fridge in room was useful too. Room was very quiet with the windows closed - no traffic noise.
Clearly a new hotel, so although lift not yet ready/functioning, everything else in fantastic order. Clean comfortable rooms. Helpful staff.
Good location, restaurants and market places really close. A bit tiny, but new and clean rooms. Staff was really helpful.
In an interesting and vibrant part of London. Good restaurants nearby
and close to transportation. Bus system is great.
The staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was really good and would recommend this hotel. great value for money.

Most staff really nice.
New hotel in a lively area about 10 mins walk from Liverpool St station.
Quiet side street and friendly staff.
May son stayed with a friend for his 21st and the hotel had a box of chocolates for him . Very thoughtful :-)).
perfect location for me. Easy to find and access. Cosy little room with good clean facilities.

The bathroom is bigger than the bedroom ...great!!!.
Room clean and quiet, bathroom very nice, bed comfy.
So very close to the high street. Clean and comfy.
Trendy area, Clean room, brand new hotel.
Good location, clean, value for money.
The overall package - outstanding.
The price!
Location handy for City.
Very comfortable & staff good.
Excellent, clean, soundproofed.
Location , simplicity.
everything as above.
Everything.
It's all about location with this b&b. Good value for money given its location. New and modern style deco. Friendly staff.
Room was clean and modern .
Bathroom very clean and modern.
Price for room at half term holiday very competitive .
nothing to dislike about this hotel.
All was good. More variety in the breakfast is advisable.
still a few glitches because it's so new. lift not ready yet (but we had been warned beforehand). a lot of traffic noise but we expected that in this location (I used earplugs but my daughter slept through it without ear plugs).
Lift was not working yet and the breakfast can be improved:
extremely basic and not the highest quality. Since the room was
quite spacious, there could have been one more chair and/or a
shelf to put the luggage.
The rooms are located above a pub, which was very noisy until the early hours on the Friday and Saturday nights that we stayed.
No lift, so had to carry bags up two flights of steps. Room was very hot, so had to open the window in the morning to let some cool air in.
Lively location with traffic can disturb a bit during the night.
Noisy pub crowds late at night. New elevator was being installed, and
not operative the 5 days we were there. The climb of 4 flights for a 70
year old was difficult. No compensation was offered.
They forgot my wake up call
The electronic safe in room didn't work so had to use key
Thermo was set at 24C and I couldn't get it to lower
No mattress protector
Breakfast lady tutted when I walked in at 9am even though I was told it finished at 9.30 - she had already cleared some the food items away.
Lift was out of use so had to climb three x two flights of stairs.
Lift not working yet. Breakfast from 7.30 but actually was not fully
laid out until nearly 8.00 on the single day I was there.
Though the breakfast was amazing, the space was a little crowded. You definitely made the most of the space!.
one of the towels was marked with some sort of stain and the bath towels were too small.
one small comment, the room temperatures are up and down, and was very hot the first morning we woke up.
The elevator didn't work!!!! I was as the 3rd level ... On
letsbookhotel.com this problem was not indicated as instead the staff of the
hotel said it was done.
Earlier check in time would have been more convenient.
No plug sockets anywhere near near the mirror so impossible to use hair dryer etc.
Tiny hotel, breakfast is really just a token gesture. For same price I would prefer a full sized hotel and breakfast.
The narrowness of the twin beds.
Design of the bedroom-not a lot of room in one of them.
Not in Spitalfields!.
No lift , no shelf in the bathroom.
nothing !!!.
Nothing.
Surprised to find that the elevator is still work in progress (I've seen the comments on this from one year ago) so it's a bit pain to carry the luggage to the 3rd floor. And it's really noisy even though the windows are tightly closed as it's in a busy pub area - convenient for going-out type of person though.
Location was too far out if city centre had long tube trips to get to city sights.
Position of hotel was very noisy being near a main road and a pub on the corner.
We did not sleep well due to the continual noise.
