location and the basket of apples at the desk... staff was very helpful Price and location in central London was excellent. the hotel is very central just off oxford street the staff were very helpfull and the rooms were very comfortble and came with a hairdryer iron and ironing board i will use it again.
all reviews Comfortable bed.Location/Privacy/Facilities/Staff. The Location was perfect being a short walk away from the Wella Studios where I needed to be for two days. The views from the room overlooked the city and it was very nice. Situated in the heart of shops, eating places, and bars. Perfect.Clean room, easy access to subway. location is excellent with major central london attractions in vicinity. the heated towel racks didn't work and the rooms are 'tired'.... the rooms did not include a kettle to make tea/coffee and the tea bags/coffee etc I wasn't impressed with the shampoo- there was no hair conditioner and the body lotion scent and strength was not to my liking...I remember the ones you had last year as much better. . Internet on TV slow and clunky. our room was right next to the lift and quite noisy. We had a sliding window which was not sealed properly, so we had a bit of a drafty night and the bed has definitely reached its sell by date.I booked two rooms. We were on he 11th floor and my sister and her husband were on the 9th floor. They had complimentary bottles of water in their room. Informed reception we had not got our complimentary bottles and she said she would see to this. When we checked out we were charged £1.75 for water. I asked why and she said that floor 9 have complimentary bottles but floor 11 don't, not happy. London hotels are always expensive and not value for money so unless you can afford to break the bank I felt that my friend and I chose the most suitable hotel to meet our needs. Although our room had been refurbished, I felt that the finish was slap dash and It still looked tired, however it was very clean.Really old furniture and the mattress was pretty bad.The rooms are terrible. Ceiling is so low, one almost feels claustrophaubic (excuse the spelling). Bathroom floor tiles were almost broken with the joint fillings out already. You have to run the tap for 10 minutes b4 you get hot water and there is a sticker on the wall which also suggests that. Water pressure is very poor. In times of water preservation worldwide this hotel makes us waste it.
