The staff were superb - courteous, helpful and they all seemed to have customer focus as a basic principle. The hotel was clean and value for money. Prices for refreshments were very reasonable and the bar meals were quick, tasty and very good value. EVERYTHING..couldn't have been happier. Immaculately clean, modern,bright. Great location for Excel and o2. Staff were very attentive andthe breakfast was very good, despite no fried eggs!! Will definitelyvisit this hotel again. Thanks.

We had a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant before we went to the 02 arena so enjoyed our show very relaxed, without queuing there for refreshments. I suppose its a bit awkward to get to from a central London/sightseeing perspective, until you get used to the transport system - but being so near to the O2, in our case, more than made up for its locality. Breakfast wasn't included and at £13.95 per person was over priced.The toilet had no sink!! it was in the bathroom which was round the corner!?. No. I would definitely stay there again. The lady on reception was not helpful. I had pre-paid my stay as the room was non-refundable and she could not see this. My name wasn't on the reservation list either. When we asked her to book us a taxi as we were running late, it didn't turn up and we suspect she didn't actually book it so we had to flag one in the rain. Not the end of the world, but a pain to say the least. Very high Hotel Bar prices. Directions from Underground not good. parking should be in with the price of your room. The restaurant was not as good as the rest of the services in the Hotel. The menu was very limited in variety but the staff were excellent.lack of pillows,unable to increase hot water in shower. the exclusion of breakfast from rate. it would have been nice if there were more shops near the hotel. Entrance in and out of car park was confusing.Staff welcoming and friendly when checking in - the guy that checked me out was rude and mono-sylabic - breakfast was good though the waitress asked whether I wanted tea or coffee then forgot to bring me either - not a disaster but sloppy. When we arrived parking was full but there were spaces soon afterwards. Could do with more info like is it worth waiting or not.Perhaps the location was a little too far (in walking distance) from the places we wanted to go. very basic room . no shower curtain etc. smell coming from the Shower and having a seperate WC room with no hand basin for washing hands. Expensive drinks and food. Very dirty stained carpet in the bedroom and the door entry would not work. In spite of staff assuring me it was sorted out I had a long walk to the room and when I got their the lock wasn't working on several occasions. couldn't get wifi in my room and couldn't connect via the cable. room service menu provided in room was out of date so it was difficult to order!. Good to have a separate toilet but let down by no hand basin. Only 1 teabag alloted per re-stocking which seemed mean.
