Loved the room itself - double room had a sofa, flatscreen tv, marble bathroom, coffee facilities. Felt really luxurious for the price, and much better than similarly priced competition that I have stayed in previously (Holiday Inn and co..) Magazines in the room were contemporary and recent. Good standard of decoration - modern and clean. We had a lovely quiet room with all the facilities expected from aprofessionally run hotel.The proximity to the football ground. The attitude and friendliness of the staff. The hotel was modern and in an easy accessible area of London.The location, the chelsea v west brom match. It was close to where my business contact. Staff friendliness, standard of service. Very enjoyable, clean, friendly staff. the proffessional attitude of staff. Convenience of underground parking. Access to sky channels that you don't get in other hotels, eg skysports, and as an avid sports fan that was nice to have. The hotel isvery quiet, I booked for new year and the hotel was full however I nevergot woken up or disturbed by noise as I have been in other hotels, andthe staff were extremely polite and helpful. All the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious (for London standards), clean and elegantly decorated. Location is excellent, a 2-3 minute walk from Fulham Broadway tube and about 15 minutes walk to Earls Court.Almost every part of my stay was a pleasure except for one small aspect which let it down right at the end (see below). When I asked for a voucher @ reception, I was given a card for a laptop instead which they later tried to charge me for.location. Nothing, it was an awful experience. Although I wasn't there on a match day, from having lived in this area in the past, I would imagine that if you are after a quiet break this hotel probably isn't right for you if Chelsea FC are playing at home!!. Breakfast prices were steep compared to similiar hotels.Having to pay for the health club- but it was an excellent one!. One member of the recption Staff could not speak English adequately enough to answer my enquiry "Where do I pay for the Car Park?. films were very expensive to watch through your hotel room tv. Cost of underground parking and cost of breakfasts.Bar prices and food were well over priced. The only blot on our otherwise wonderful stay was that at 8am on the morning of our departure the builders in the adjoining room felt it was time to drill and hammer above our heads until we checked out at 11am. On complaining to the Reception I was told they are renovating all the rooms, which is fine by me, I just felt I would have liked to have been informed of the disruption.Only one member of staff at the check-out desk on a weekday at 815am. Surely, this is a peak time for checking guests out?? Had to queue for nearly 10 minutes. extra charge for use of leisure facilities. No Clocks in the rooms?. We experienced a few problems with the tv which kept on switching channels by itself, but it was nothing major. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Because we stayed on match day we had to pay an extra rate,and we where not going to the match. The cost of parking is expensive - £25 for 24 hours. Split into 2 parts, and not clear which part I should book into. room service was poor. Ordered breakfast for two people and the quantities were very skimpy, the cutlery was for one person. This happened everytime we ordered breakfast in our room.yes when i arrived they had no knowledge of my booking and questioned me extensively and did not eecognise my booking number until i used their internet and showed them my confirmation details on there. They were not helpful as to the reason that the booking was confirmed yet they had no rewcord of it I found them most unsatisfactory . I did not like the idea that I had paid £156.00 for a room which wassupposed to be a twin with an extra bed added, and then ended up with aroom with one double bed for three.Foyer was bland and uninviting. Too small of entrance. No stairs - I occasionally suffer from claustrophobia. We thought it was one hotel. Upon checking in at the Millenium we weretold another gbp 40 per room would be charged. In the end we were toldwe had a room in the Copthorne. We didnt like this type of money making.The double bed was small considering we are both tall.Can't get through the switchboard, room service not available that night even with prior to arrival. Staff very unfriendly. Staying in the Copthorne Hotel yet having to arrange things from the Miilenium. See above. Also, some people like to have crisps or nuts with a drink in the bar !!. room was too hot. Had to leave window open which was not ideal as loud bar was immediately below room. I booked a double room, when I arrived they had no double room. I had toupgrade to a suite costing me and extra £120 per night.

The hotel is easily accessible from the M25 and M40 and is outside the congestion charging zone. It is superbly located for both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
By tube:
The nearest underground station is Fulham Broadway on the District Line (5 minute walk). On exiting the station, turn left and walk along Fulham Road for approximately 400 metres. The hotel is located on the left-hand side.
By car from the M25:
- Exit at at junction 15 and take the M4 for London.
- Continue onto the A4, over the Hammersmith flyover and across 2 sets of traffic lights.
- Filter to the right down Earls Court Road and cross a major set of lights.
- At the 2nd junction turn right into Fulham Road (A304). The entrance to the hotel is about 600 metres on the right. Underground car parking is available (except on match days).
From the North (M1):
- Exit onto the A406 for North Circular Road at junction 1.
- Exit for the A40 and continue onto the M41.
- Turn right onto the A3220 (Holland Road) and follow the A3220 for 2 miles before turning right onto the A304 (Fulham Road). Stamford Bridge is a quarter of a mile along.
From the North West (M40):
- Continue onto the A40 then the M4. Continue as for North.
From the West (M4):
- Exit at Junction 2 and continue along the A4 for 4 miles until it becomes Cromwell Road.
- Turn right onto the A3220 (Earls Court Road) and continue as from the North.
From the South West (M3):
- Exit onto the M25 at junction 12 and continue for 10 miles.
- Exit at junction 15 onto the M4. Continue as from the West.
