Clean, tidy, comfortable, and very close to sights in London. Hotel Lily was easily accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast room with plenty of staff to serve breakfast. It looked like hotel had been upgraded recently. I really enjoyed my stay, and thought it was value for money. Overall, I had a really good experience of Hotel Lily. It's a great place for families, backpackers, and tourists who are out during the day. I would definitely stay again.
all reviews » Location is excellent. 2 minutes from West Brompton tube station, 5 minutes from Earl's Court tube station (Exhibition Centre is opposit side of the hotel) and 15 minutes from Fulham Broadway tube station (Chelsea FC 2 further minutes) by walk. Staff is very friendly. Full english breakfast is fine. Recommended and thank you!. We had to extend our stay several times through serious illness with my husband in hospital for 2 and a half weeks. The manager and staff were very helpfull and supportive, I couldn't have wanted for more. Staying 1 month in total, I can't speak highly enough for the service and help they gave me. Its was Budget Friendly in the heart of London City near West Brompton Railway Station and Earls Court Railway Station and can move anywhere in London City. Calm Environment , Very neat and Tidy Kitchen and Reception and last but not the least the rooms were very neat and tidy each and every day. I stayed for 3 nights, I booked room with 2 beds and I asked a bed for my daughter, but they didn't offer me any bed, they replace my booking with 3 beds, it was good and nice, I spent my time outside the hotel so I would say it is fine, the breakfast was good, especially the service. Free breakfast. British style. - tea/coffee +4 pieces of bread with choices of jam + ham, sausage, egg. I like Hotel Lily because it is a hotel. Unlike other hotel in Earls court area which is a hotel adapted from a house-flat. Hotel lily was built as a hotel with carpark. İ stayed there for 4 days in June, and really liked the hotel. It's a great one for a London Hotel, Value for money. Also really close to West Brompton underground station. I'd stay in this hotel again if I visit London ever again. Thanks. One guy on the reception, the bold one from the night shift (sorry don't know his name) was unacceptably impolite, even rude. Once we asked him about another card, because we couldn't enter a room, he didn't want to let us in, said our Eglish was extremely bad, and just threw the card. Nothing bad, per se, but nothing that demands I return there again on my next trip to London. Room a bit sparse otherwise fine. *Need to pay 5 pounds to store luggage. Your on a busy road if windows open can be a bit of traffic noise. Nothing. The incessant banging of the lift doors when people were entering or leaving even in the early hours. Get a room well away from the lifts or find another hotel. The room was a bit dated and could have done with refurbishing. It was very crapped with 3 single beds in. Nothing really to complain out there was only 1 carton of milk in the room with no tea spoon, and was given coffee instead of tea and fried egg instead of scrambled at breakfast but I'm certain they would have sorted it out if I'd mentioned it but for the price it would be churlish to complain. Needs refurbishment In room heater difficult to operate Bathroom sink clogged. Bathroom was small but adequate for its needs. Sink plughole didn't fit. The room was very, very small and a little dilapidated. However what we had was comfortable. En-suite needed attention. Hotel staff don't go through mails. They should improve on this. The bathroom could have been improved with a bit of bleach. Wifi. New password everyday. Often didn't work. 5 pounds per day. Whole system is very irritating and behind the times. Having to pay for the car parking in the hotel car park. one minor point was area of worktop near wardrobe could be repaired as was slightly damaged. Nothing!!. The bath panel was moulded with a bulge which restricted door entry into bathroom hopefully they will change that to a flat one as they update the hotel. Also plughole in basin needs a guard. Only having 1 sausage for breakfast ; ). Not applicable. No light or power in the bathroom and the night staff member was decidedly uninterested. One of our party suffered from bed bug bites quite badly. Not applicable. vent in bathroom needed clean out, Finishing of bathroom door and tiling was poor. 5.-GBP a day for the baggage room, 15.- GBP a night for parking of our hired car. forgetting my spoon !!!! but fully understand hotel policy due to the silly habits of travellers to steal everything !!!!. Room was cramped and awkward, would have been better with a single bed; 2 people would have been difficult to fit. Beware if your booked stay times change as they do not refund unused time (even though I told them on booking in I was staying one day less) and this after staying 13 days!. I cant think of 1 thing. No tv remote. Room a bit squashed with 3 beds.
