Location superb, supermarket across the road, many tourist attractions within walking distance, with hop on hop off bus stop across the road, underground 50m, marvellous café around cnr to hotel. Marvellous. Only minus is no free internet except in lobby. The location is excellent as walking distance to Buckingham palace, embankment and shops. Rooms clean and comfortable breakfast excellent great choices. Staff happy and efficient. I wll definately stay again.

Great location in central London. About 150 meters from the Green Park tube station -> straight access to the Heathrow airport and most London areas). Very nice hotel in every important aspect. Excellent location in heart of Mayfair, opposite The Ritz and close to Picadilly, theatres etc. Room spacious and beds very large and comfortable. Although so central, very quiet. Staff member on arrival was fantastic, and room cleaning staff very very good. Excellent hotel, facilities and staff. Very good value for money. Would stay again without question. Location! I bought stuff online and there was no charge for receiving and delivering the boxes. Also, the stuff I bought was intact. So the honesty of the employees is a plus. hot water good and good pressure also,great to have a bath. loved the pillow choice and the magazines much appreciated. Loved the wall paper nice bright and comtempory. Location was great. Very close to where all my business meetings were. I liked the excellent location of the hotel which is in the heart of London and within a walking distance of the night life and the shopping areas . I also appreciated keeping my luggage in the porter's room after checking out till afternoon. A piece of a toilet was left on the corridor for the 2 days of our stay. there were no guest umbrellas available all day or in the evening when we were going out for dinner. WIFI very expensive. It could do with updating but this is reflected in the price. The rooms are not sound proof. I had a room on the street side (Berkeley) and you hear the people/caars throughout the night. Also the internal walls are not soundproof. No toilet brush available in our bathroom. Unfortunately only one lift operational during our stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom door to one of the rooms booked didn't shut, but this wasn't a problem and was reported during checkout. Bathroom was not very clean - we had to clean to bath before use. The mini bar had not been replenished after the previous occupier and the hotel tried to charge us for the missing items (although they did remove the cost from the invoice after we challenged them). restaurant staff were quite slow and often difficult to locate during dinner time. We weren´t the only ones to notice this as we heard other customers complaining. The air con was nosy and not effective.. Restaurant very expensive for breakfast - charging an additional £4 for not pre-booking! On the one occasion we had breakfast the coffee was awful. Had wonderful breakfasts for a third of the price around the corner in Piccadilly at Cafe Pierre opposite The Ritz. Pillows too soft!. Seemed hotel hasn’t been renovated for very long time, all the furniture was very used. Also Wi-Fi can be used just for two devices!!!!!! Not mentioned that it wasn’t even for free of charge. Found contact lens pot from previous person & edge of bath not clean. No real ale in bar. Nothing. No complaints except for the wifi which should be atleast free in the lobby. very expencive, being you don't even get breakfast. There is room for improvement as far as breakfast does concern. that my room was £179 but thwe same room was advertised as £129 as a family room on websites. Less money for more people and the same room. Extortionate prices for wifi, mattresses that sag, impossible to have someone call in to the hotel. One occasion of forgot ton room service. Breakfast should be included in the room a rate to avoid everybody walking to the starbucks across the road... I think it would be of benefit to supply free wifi to rooms or at least in lounge. One computer terminal not nearly enough. price of breakfast. The weather. Concierge service not too knowledgeable. Some room fittings in poor condition. lack of business center. Staff on reception were unfriendly , our room wasn't ready at 3pm and eventually we got a room at 5.30 pm. A single friend was travelling with us and being charged 19 pounds for breakfast as this was the rate per room seems very unfair, staff in breakfast area were bored, un attentive . I was surprised to find out that my visa card was charged 59.432 J.D which is equivalent to 50 Pounds on the 29 sept. 2013 because i did not purchase anything from your hotel and i did not use the fridge bar inside my room. Hotel is a bit faded, lobby not of the quality I'd have expected. no twin rooms available even though requested, ice took an hour to arrive, rather large and impersonal feel to the hotel. The shower did not work very well as the water was not coming out of all the holes in the shower head. It was not up to standard for the price of £170 per night. On departure I was asked to pay for some items from the mini bar although we had not used anything. I did think that the staff could have been more welcoming. Didn't have a twin bedded room but told this after we booked. This hotel is very tired looking and most areas are in need of redecoration. The bathrooms are old with the black marks on the grout of the tiles etc.
